@culinaryrock They could have done a few things differently and maybe better, but i think the whole thing was done well. It had a good duration. They didn't draw it out too much and milk it for more than it was worth. I think the stars they chose to represent the Alliance could have been better if all the former ECW and WCW talent agreed to it. ie Sting for one. But having the Alliance win at Invasion but WWF win at Survivor Series was a stroke of genius. Made Vince look like the genius he is.

This feud was like 5 years in the making. It certainly didn't live up the hype. I mean no DX, no NWO, no Goldberg, no Mick Foley, no Sting. and it just didn't make any sense to have Austin and Angle join the alliance.

Just look how it ended at Survivor Series, it was an awesome match, but look who was in it for the Alliance. Booker T, RVD, Kurt Angle, Stone Cold, Shane McMahon. Only Booker T was true WCW member. RVD was a true ECW member. The rest had WWF blood in them.

Everyone who knows WWF from this era knows that the WCW/ECW team didn't have the top draws because a) Sting wasn't willing to gamble his career on his usage in WWF and b) most of WCW superstar contracts weren't ready to be touched by WWF yet (ie. Goldberg, Flair, etc.). Triple H was out on his injury for the whole thing, HBK wasn't on contract and The Rock was busy filming movies (kayfabe suspended).
