Well KG would've had an impact obviously but I don't know if they still would've beaten the Lakers.

L.A. showed they can beat Boston in the reg. year.

celtics without KG and Powe, which are both lost players and not only that, but Orlando is strong in the low post with Dwight Howard, and celtics still took them to 7 games, rockets without tmac and yao, took a healthy laker team to 7 games, lakers didn't play that great in the postseason celtics played beyong their standard without KG and they'd have won with KG and Powe if they played the same way

The Lakers had a 2-1 lead in the series when Yao got hurt, after Yao got hurt that's when the Lakers started playing inconsistent. They underestimated the Rockets just like Boston underestimated Atlanta.

Look at both the Celtics and Lakers title runs.

The Rockets/L.A. series so similar to Boston/Atlanta.

Like Atlanta Houston was a big underdog and thye took L.A. to 7 games. The Nuggets & Pistons both stole homecourt but L.A. & Boston won key games on the road.
