@David279300 Haha most racers set their gauges up to where the needle is facing straight up if everything in the car is operating correctly so they can limit the time spent checking the guages.

@David279300 rpm gauge? it's called a tachometer, and fyi they're always twisted. i drive racecars locally and we mount the tach with whatever the peak rpm is pointed at 12 o'clock, same with oil pres. water temp. etc, all gauges in racecars are turned so that optimum operating range is at 12 o'clock, so when you're driving in the race, you don't have ot read the gauges, just glance and make sure all of hte needles are pointed straight up and you know everything is fine

alot of people wont give jimmy credit for his 4 championships cause he won them all under the Chase format, and if nascar was using the old system then well he would only have won 1 championship.....but none the less jimmy is a good driver.

I will never understand why SOME Nascar fans don't like Jimmie Johnson. The guy is great for the sport. I know there are a ton of people that want Jr. to be but lets be honest it's time to get over the whole Dale thing. Jimmie has done something even the Great Dale couldn't come close to doing in an era of racing you would think it impossible. So all I can say at this point is 2010, THE DRIVE FOR 5... ONE FOR THE THUMB! (Rings for the slow people out there)

@bendalejr88 From what I can tell, that's something specific to Jimmie's car, any other tachometer you'll see in those stock cars are right side up. Maybe he had his like that growing up and he's used to it now, I don't know.

2. He is better than other peoples fav. drivers.

It's not a pageant where the drivers are supposed to show us how great they are as people, and how great their personalities are.
