Just over half-way through you video, and it looks like a fantastic adventure, I bet you were buzzed up by this experience, and the acts are getting better along the vid.
little chicken! there are other great flamencos with mad names!
watch the top youtube video when you search for 'tomatito'! little tomato! And there's a potito, little potato i think! and part 2 of my flamenco adventure, the video response, has 'el chino', the chinaman!
Soooo great you sharing this with us Derek!!! i'm with tears!
Also now that you are home you must know what it feels to not being in the place where you belong or want to be.. someday we both be back there, i swear that!
dont worry, i will live there soon enough!! (i hope) the euro practically equals a euro now so what reason is there to live through the hardships of life, work, mortgages, etc, in a freezing wet bitter cold miserable country like britain, when we could go through all that in a hot country where it's so much nicer? it makes sense to me! just need to clear all my debts in this country and then i can take my first steps to freedom! not long now! ole!
I've fantasized for years about traveling Europe just as you described, away from tourist spots, with guitar in hand, hitting local bars and learning from whatever local musicians I can find. Thanks for letting me live that vicariously for a bit. Good job on the captions, by the way. ;)
so co, you're lucky my friend, i like your surprises (like Juan Marin's) remember ?
