I think that what they have done is quite brilliant. They have taken all the important / life changing moments in a man's life -that usually go unnoticed- and have turned them into an advertisement. I feel like this a tribute to manhood, like a "friend' that goes around talking about the accomplishments of his best mate...

This commercial paints a lovely picture of the trials and triumphs of being a man and a decent human being who is balanced, caring, selfless, fun, adventurous and healthy. Maybe showing him at his job would have evened it out a bit but you can only fit so much in 30 seconds.
