Maybe because they were using during this time, but the guitar sounds awesome to me...John's guitar is ALWAYS awesome.

What a snapshot in time...John Frusciante at age 18, playing with such confidence and with a swagger/toughness we would never hear from him again!

Mother's Milk is a singularly unique album in the RHCP lexicon...there was not another Peppers album like before or since. BloodSugarSexMagik always gets the props- but for me, Mother's Milk will ALWAYS be the truly definitive RHCP album.

Easily a top 10 'desert island' album, no question.
