last month, my college got my a placement to a fab shop and this week started my apprenticeship as a fabricator. my first choice was to be a welder but there were no positions available. but i heard that i could still get into welding despite serving my time as a fabricator, could someone inform me on how i'd go about this. any replies would be greatly appreciated.

i'm up for my certification in january i'm definately going to come back for the pipe program the only thing is they don't certify u in pipe at my school. my instructor tells me that pipe is very hard to learn.

@TheDevenrocks There are more welders than welding jobs these days. You may have to travel to make some money.
