I know this is an old video, but using chain lightning with bloodlust up is silly.

Just spam lightning bolt.

Otherwise you'll be waiting for your GCD which will screw your rotation.

Isn't it considered cheating that you use CL as it hit the nearby dummies aswell, because you wouldn't use it single target as it's a major DPS loose

8.5k will be right for stand at one place and dps. highest i got to is 11k dps on single boss same rotation.

I was always wondering, when i do dps tests, I always make sure that the warlock's Curse of Elements is gone because i think it might increase my dps, but i want an accurate reading. Does it increase his/ my dps if curse of elements is on the target?

yeh, if a shaman crit 14k on you in pvp. I'm sad to say, but then you are a newb. Pvp gear make it only crit ~10k.

Hey mate - I noticed your gear in Armory, and it shows up as 288 Hit Rating. Just out of curiosity, is this enough Hit Rating for an Elemental DPS? Because i have like 13% (Goes up to 17% w/Draenei racial + Elemental talent) - Just wondering how you manage to get 17% HR with 288 Hit Rating. (:

For me a horde orc shaman, i need 289 hit rating + hit buff from a shadow priest or boomkin to be hit capped, and i just accepted that i'm 1 hitrating under hit cap.

nice one m8 like the vid and ur link in info has help me alot. i hate the fack eley shamans have been nerfd ive got some good gear but been trying so hard to get over 5k comfortably with out bloodlust food buffs and pots i test at heroic dummy singal target with only flame tounge and totems and the right rotation it isnt easy getting 5k during raid ill put what u have to the test fingesr crossd hope it works ^^

Nice dps mate but only thing i can see is that it's not solo target as the chainlightning hits a second target and prob adds atleast 1k dps to the mix. Still ncie though :)
