i know. but to compose your music, you dont have to know some scales, u dont have to know some melodics, you just have to play ANYTHING. so i dont see many skill in composig that music...but to cover it, like the guy in the video did, u need skill, yes.

That shit is just plain wrong, songs like this sound so brutal because the composers know exactly what they're doing, it might sound atonal, but often the song is based on a scale with outside notes thrown in strategically in a way that makes sense, you have to know the rules to break them. Try just playing ANYTHING and see if it doesn't sound retarded.

Not to mention the rhythms in this song are fucking badass, so please next time you wake up in the morning do it to a big cup of STFU.

@Cut70r What are you talking about? If you dont know any scales, modes etc, your music will sound just like the other guy. Have you ever picked up a guitar before? Most guitars are 24 frets x 6 strings. thats 144 notes, forgeting many other variables. Your not going to be able to easly pull something out of all thoes, that is complex. Pulling out a three chord riff, ok. Not hard. But writing a great complex riff., common You need direction.

ya i understand the first part, i worded it wrong. what I ment was that there are so many diffrent notes, with so many textures is not just the 12 notes, including sharps\flats. AS for the second part, have you ever learned other guitar parts from oth songs?? have you ever learned A scale?? at some point im shure you have so yes in a sence you do know some theory and based what you have written off of other stuff you have learned or heared in the past
