Yeah, yeah, yeah. We all know he was with other teams before the Cubs, who cares. He'll always be known for broadcasting with the Cubs. Long live the memory of Harry Caray.
This is only a partial video celebration of Harry Carey. You completely omitted his years in St. Louis, and his 10+ years on the south side of Chicago at Comiskey. But then, you are obviously a Cubbies fan and believe only you fans ever owned Harry.
@macgage I hear ya mac... but... the thing is... St. Louis and the Sox don't want him, so he became a "Cub" legend by default. I don't get it either, but no one ever claims him from the other jobs.
what a chicago legend. im a die hard cubs fan so i love this man. he is one of my many idols.but cubs fans dont forget he started out as a sox fan announcer. but the cubs made him famous!! Go Cubs Go,
Is it possible to buy the Cubs Forever: Celebrating 60 Years of WGN-TV and the Chicago Cubs on DVD...If so please let me KNow Thanx so much...Harry is basically like a uncle to me..listen to all the games as a kid doing choirs...He was the best
That montage of the late announcer Haray Carry was done in brilliant detail. He was simply the best announcer in Major League Baseball ... specifically on WGN Television (now WGN America) An excellent 6!! Go Cubs!!
Hey, if anyone who likes to watch TV, you see that ridiculous cermercial of someone impostering as Harry Carey, that's an insult and makes want to kick that guy in the nads!!
Dude! Get a life, for Pete's sake! Harry had a sence of humor. I don't know exactly which clip you're talking about, but what about the parodies of Will Ferrell as Harry Caray on SNL? That was funny stuff!
Harry awesome cool!
