it makes me think of my cat strudel, she lived to be 18 yrs old. my mom has had her many years before and i had her many years as well, as a very little kid, i always imagined her being thre for my 12th birthday, never happened. in a few months i will be 12, strudel died 6 days after my 11th b-day. she was just an old sweet small cat, when she died i was punching the walls of my house, i didnt want to have a life anymore cuz a big part was missing to me.i have new cats now. look at my new video!

We had to get him put down because we found out he had cancer. Im gonna miss him alot. He slept with me every single night. He even slept right on me sometimes. RIP Spock. I have 2 older cats (13 and 14). Smoke (13) has been in remission from diabetes since July 2006. Santana (14) was diagnosed with CRF in June 2008 and has been receiving sub-q fluids at home ever since. It's so hard when they get older... but they bring so much love!

I am sorry for the loss of your precious cat, Spock. But, Spock was a very lucky cat to have had you for a companion for twenty years...you took such good care of him. I offer my condolences; It is a very difficult thing, death. Spock was well loved and cared for, and no matter what anybody tells you, animals DO have souls. I had a cat for 18 years, and he died in my arms due to an infection that could not be controlled. I have never been the same, nor should I. As I said, death is a very difficult thing to wrap ones mind around.

It's gutting to lose a beloved pet, best thing is to get another one as soon as possible. We did that after Sheba (our last tortoiseshell cat) died in 1997 - the current member of our Tortie-Dynasty is Phoebe, almost 12 years old now and in rude health according to our vet, and we'd got her only ten days after Sheba died. While we get very attached to our pets, we just have to accept that they are given to us and that they do not live as long as us.

RIP Spock. I have 2 older cats (13 and 14). Smoke (13) has been in remission from diabetes since July 2006. Santana (14) was diagnosed with CRF in June 2008 and has been receiving sub-q fluids at home ever since. It's so hard when they get older... but they bring so much love!
I'm sorry for your loss. Hopefully you'll adopt more cats and give them a great home for another 20 years. Don't forget to spay/neuter!

I am sorry for the loss of your precious cat, Spock. But, Spock was a very lucky cat to have had you for a companion for twenty years...you took such good care of him. I wish all dogs and cats could get people like you for owners. In the U.S., 400 companion animals that are friendly and adoptable are euthanized every hour. :(

I am sorry for your loss. 20 years is a long time, and i hope my Elvis lives that long. I have very few pictures of my best friend, and seeing this has made me want to do something so i will always have him with me, no matter what. Your cat was beautiful, and very loved I am sure.

This video broke my heart. I lost my beloved tortoise shell cat Lucy to renal failure on Oct 5 2003. In a matter of weeks she was gone. I miss her soooooo much. Still. What a beautiful tribute you created for your Spock. Thank you for reminding me that I will see my Lucy at the bridge one day too. God bless.

I'm so sorry for your loss! This video really made me cry! My cat just died 3 months ago (she was a tortoiseshell too) and I really miss her. She got sick(kidney failure)and after 6 months she got worst and we had to put her to sleep. She was 13 years old, and losing her was one of the hardest things in my life! I hope we can see them in heaven!

This vid also made me cry. I lost my beautiful tortie this month, also due to kidney failure from old age. I miss her terribly, she was a wonderful little companion for years. We have our memories our furbabies gave us, & will see them again in the hereafter.

this makes me cry soo badly, i keep thinkin of my birds... both are dead now, but they were some of the best friends i have ever had... and this also sends my thoughts to my cat, witch still is alive, and who now is my very best friend in the whole wide world, but it makes me cry so badly because i suddendly realised that he will die someday... and iæve never really thought about just that before :'(

I offer my condolences; It is a very difficult thing, death. Spock was well loved and cared for, and no matter what anybody tells you, animals DO have souls. I had a cat for 18 years, and he died in my arms due to an infection that could not be controlled. I have never been the same, nor should I. As I said, death is a very difficult thing to wrap ones mind around.

i lost a cat that died on his b-day near my back door at a very young age and he was my best friend. and just recentlly like 2 days ago i lost my puppy it was to painful to be present for my puppy and my cat who died on its own very slowly i could tell they were both in a lot of pain

I am so sorry for your loss. I have had 3 Tortoise Cats. I love them very much. The first one has been gone for over 20 years and I still miss her. The latest one is a rescued kitty that was very scared and now she loves being babied! I love her more than anything. They are family.
I hope you will find the strength to bring another one into your life and family. They need us and bring us so much joy.

i know it sounds sad and wrong buit when my doggie crystal died i was depressed and i wasent ready cuz she was my very first pet so it hit me pretty hard i still cry sometimes it was in december i just know that my kitty Nacha like when she dies i will be so DEPRESSED!!! just trying to get ready

It's gutting to lose a beloved pet, best thing is to get another one as soon as possible. We did that after Sheba (our last tortoiseshell cat) died in 1997 - the current member of our Tortie-Dynasty is Phoebe, almost 12 years old now and in rude health according to our vet, and we'd got her only ten days after Sheba died. While we get very attached to our pets, we just have to accept that they are given to us and that they do not live as long as us.

My cat died Yesterday night when i talked with my mom on my phone. Max was his name, he became 13 years old. And died in his favourite place when i talked with my mom on my phone.
I got him when i was 8 years old and now iam 21.

Nice tribute, i cried half way through this video. I lost a cat a few years ago he got in a fight and damaged his jaw and was unable to eat then passed away whilst sleepin on my bed, I hope you tresured her and i am sure she loved you too.

Thank you so much for the video...it is helping with my pain. My 10 month old kitten, Zeus died of a sudden stroke yesterday and I can't stop the pain. We miss him so much. My daugther says she hopes that he has fun in his new home across the bridge.
