  • I'm not sayin he's not really strong, and I'm not sayin that's not an impressive squat, but he should put the bar just a little lower on his traps to avoid throwing his lower back into the lift. Everybody just tries to lift ungodly amounts of weight without really perfecting their form. Go just a little lighter and try to avoid throwing your lumbar into it coming out of the bottom. That's all I'm sayin. Anyone agree, or am I just gonna get flamed for saying that?

  • @nyggadyma This is not bad for your knees. A lot of people say that going ass to grass is actually less impact on your knees because you are not stopping partway during the range of motion (as with legs parallel squatting).

  • To break parrallel the surface of the top of the knee has to be above the surface of the top of the leg where it meets the hip. That is the leg has to have a slight downward slope with the top of the knee being the higher point. This depth would not pass in and IPF meet. You can reference the IPF website for a diagram on what constitutes breaking parallel.

  • @21loggins Dude the weights aren't fake. The info provided says the bar weight is 255kgs which is easily believable based on the sway of the bar at the bottom and on the way up. Clearly the weights aren't iron either but that is irrelevant. Weight plates are manufactured using many different materials.
