  • If you go to any inner city area in London much of the businesses catering to needs of black peopel are run by non blacks, but it is these people who disrespect on a regular basis yet take are money. Black people must learn to enterprise and support their own comminity by providing its own community with jobs and businesses. Until we learn this we will alway be at the bottom of the financial ladder, always dependant on welfare which is really for losers

  • anyone have a list of good black owned beauty supply stores online?

  • We need to support our black owned business and create them! I'm planning to co own with my sister online businesses and a black owned beauty supply store.People need to stop buying from these asians(and whites). I will never step foot in one of their stores

  • Are any of these stores available online?

  • You are so welcomed!

This issue is close to my heart. Knowledge is power. Changing the way we do business begins at home by us teaching our families to support BO companies. I shop BO for everything I can find.

Together we can take our hair care industry back.

  • It's refreshing to see more black owned beauty supply stores. I was watching a documentary about 6 months ago on how there are more Korean(I believe) owned beauty supply stores, catering to African Americans, than African American owned beauty supply stores.

  • Hi, I am an African American looking to open an Beauty Supply store in Gastonia, North Carolina. I have been unemployed for the past 6 months and starting my own business seems the only to make it. I would appreciate if someone in the business get back to me and provide some suggestions on how to get started. My email address is donware1020@yahoo.com. Thanks, Donald

  • @donware1020 contact devin robinson taking it back black .com

  • Beauty Supply Conference is now in existence...beautysupplyconferencedotcom

  • Is that 5035 or 6035 bakersfeery rd.

  • I would love to see more black owned beauty supply stores in DC, we need it.

  • 10 city beauty supply entrepreneurship conference underway beautysupplyconferencedotcom.

  • And don't act like some of you blacks steal. It might be a stereotype, but it is true. Stealing pisses off Asians the most.

  • @clickpick92 and asians and other races don't steal?? get away with your ignorance in Jesus name

  • And also, the Asians are VERY protective of their stores and items in them. They will protect their stores like it is their children. Other races might find this to be humorous or taboo, but it's their way of life.

  • @clickpick92 its shows how superficial you are!

  • see, it's this kind of mentality of blacks that makes them stick to the bottom of the social ladder. Whenever the owners take action which blacks find "offensive", they believe it is because they are black. These thoughts make racial integration in America impossible and racism will STAY in America until the minorities shift their mentality.

The truth is if Asians had a beauty supply store for WHITE people, the store rules and policies would be the same as they are for black people.

  • @clickpick92 well then don't come to the black site if you have a problem with us...as a matter of fact don't even come to our neighborhood stay with your people!

  • @AnnisaAyana lol i don't think anyone in his/her right might would want to go to your "hood"

  • Hello. I remember the days when black own supply store reps would come to black salons to take our order. We would credit if we needed to and then pay at the end of the week. What happened? Black women alone spends more money on beauty that any other race! Let's support our black owned beauty supply stores again! Take it back!

  • I never, ever, EVER see a black owned beauty supply store. They're usually owned by asians.

  • how much does it take to open a beauty supply store ????? and who to order from ????

  • sh%$ I am heading there myself!

  • I'm heading there today. I'm so tired of the way that we get treated in the Asian run establishments.

  • @ciannima

I'm with you on this. They plant themselves in mostly black communities but treat them all like criminals and with a lack of respect in their places. It's about time to boycott these folks - stop making them rich!

  • @oneblackwoman..Our Store is Called Japaree Beauty Supply ( Formally Days Hair Care) 4025 Inkster Rd Inkster, Mi 48141 313-277-2319

  • Excellent, this was the motivation that I needed. We need to support one another!!

  • It is definitely time to take our dollars back. My family owns a beauty supply in Inkster MI, ( Metro Detroit area). We have been in business for 30 years. Its through God's grace that we have survived the Korean take over of the beauty supply business.
