Nigger is one of those white or black fuckheads who think they can get away with joining a gang and terrorize a person, that's my view. Sadly the majority of gun-totting pieces of excrement are black people due to society and of course the shit they are force-fed in terms of music. The last thing I would like to say is that it amazes me just how powerful a single word can be, very foolish I believe.

i understand where u are coming from, i believe in equality as well, and it doesnt make it right for black ppl to discriminate as well. But it is the situation that is the problem, the "n" word has a history behind it, it goes back in racist history MANY generations, and that is y it is offensive, the word "cracker" was a word derived from the slave days because white ppl would "crack" their whips, officials gaining the nickname "cracker",

@yungtillmon Even if thats true, it's not known to the large majority of ppl that either use the word or have heard a person use it to address a white person. When it comes down to it "Cracker" is not and never will be as offensive as Nigger (unless white ppl some how become enslaved for almost 5 centuries). But my point is to stop using all terms that are offense towards any race.

@yungtillmon Also, I looked it up and all semi reliable sources say the origins of the word "Crackers" are unknown; i say semi because Wikipedia barely counts...You obviously learned the whip thing from Urban dictionary, a ridiculously unreliable source.

@BrandonOwnageKing no urban dictionary just the truth. Stuff like the meaning of the word cracker comes from talking to your elders. Your not going to find everything in a history book. Its sitting down with the people who marched and letting them tell there story they heard from there parents and generation. They are all dying down and out this new generation just knows everyting and think old people are crazy. There is alot of stuff that we are missing out on. Our history is lost in time.

And to the guy who made this video, I understand where you're coming from with the double standard, only difference though is that the racial slurs that you mentioned against white people do not have a history. @drewgirl0025 well the English dictionary is trying to sugar coat the word, the word derives from the latin word "niger" which at first was a word for the color black, then it was used towards blacks, not as an offensive word, but a classifying word that was unoffensive, but then white racists started exploiting that word, officially banning that word from the caucasian vocabulary (socially)

Although I agree that blacks shouldn't have this license to use white racial remarks, I hope you understand that they aren't directly comparable terms. Whites historically have been and generally still are (yes, even in spite of Obama) the advantaged group. Thus, the relative acceptability of white-directed racial remarks is based on the fact that they aren't nearly offensive to whites.
By all means, the racial crap needs to stop from all directions, but I just felt like pointing that out.

I agree. I really don't get how black people can complain about the N word when a lot of them use racial slurs as well to other races.
At the end of the day, a racial slur is a racial slur, and it is not fair for black people to complain so much about being called the N word then seeing a white guy in town and saying to his friends "look at that whiteboy". Whiteboy is classed also as a racial slur.
Also jokes about white people. The history is just that, history, they aren't slaves any more.
