Don't be confused. Hanging out with baby animals isn't what vets do. They work, really hard, until they're old...and that's when their "career" begins.  Most vets never get to work on a giraffe their whole entire lives. The ones that do have literally sacrificed themselves to get there. There is no money, but a lot of heartache. Most (read: virtually all) exotics that receive vet care, are treated only because they are profitable to the owner. Sorry to bear the bad news, but be informed.
