eyefinity and 3 monitors is different. Eyefinity increases the field of view, hence the main screen is the centre one and is effectively stretched, on 3 monitor setup the main screen is the one furthest to the left and it is then stretched across. If you have dual video cards you can run 3 screens, i heard that the HiS 4850x2 was able to run 4 without too much trouble...

I actually run triple monitor, with the main monitor being the centre, and the taskbar is actually in the middle.

I think Eyefinity works by turning all three resolutions into one massive screen, somewhat like software emulated Matrox's TripleHead2Go, and that is why the taskbar appears on all screens, and starts on the left. Because the taskbar is meant to be in the bottom left, and extend to the end of the screen. But since Windows only sees 1 virtual screen...

I am testing a 5770 for hexus and have successfully managed 3x 19'' averaging about 80 - 100 fps on games like Half Life 2 and such. yeah fastest ssd using sata. but there are way faster PCI ssd's like Fusion-io, average write rate of 300MB/sec and read rate of 775MB/sec and thats stock speeds according to engadget. imagine having a raid0 setup dam that would be quick.
