I LOVE loons! They are my favorite birds. What lake are you on? I ask because I do a lot of camping in the Adirondacks and I love seeing the loons and I am curious if it is the same place.
I dont remember the name but its on private property owned by my college, so you prolly havnt been on it. But pretty much most of the lakes in the ADKs have loons :-)

Loons are cool. I did their call in a bird calling contest....it's really hard to do.
