This is truly a great piece of music. These guys are amazing . I wish I knew more about DM trio back in the day. I basically only know of him as an actor,a great actor,comedian. Not as a great jazz man. He played some in the movies and you knew he was very talented,but I had no idea he had these roots in jazz. Now I can't get enough. Thanks for posting this video.

Hope this video alone proves to the world of the 21st c. that Heavens dropped us another Mozart or Beethoven--a pure genius. Perhaps even exceeded the genius dosage that of his noted predecessors reason being DM's also a genius jazz and comic artist. I think DM is one of the greatest composers ever lived on earth. Incredible to know one human being can hold so many talents of sublime depth. .

I can not believe I never knew about this guy until recently. What a great piano player and actor/personality. Many people I speak with (musicians included) never knew what a great piano player he was either. It is such a shame that he is no longer with us.

Isn't this wonderful music? It's from a great album almost totally forgotten today and is in desperate need of reissue. As good as this track is you could argue it's not the best on the record. I just luckily stumbled onto a used copy of the US issue over 25 years ago and have been in love ever since. Wish/hope he recorded more like this and that some day it will all see the light of day once again.

I just LOVE this whole album. I first heard it nearly 30 years ago. It belonged to my tutor at college. I just love the original compositions - great stuff! WHERE OH WERE can get purchase a copy of it though? I can't find a copy for sale ANYWHERE!!

Authentic Dud vol.1 & vol.2 are excellent. There's a vol.2 on Ebay right now, go get it.
