  • I love this song, especially the guitar breakdown at 2:37, so badass, R.I.P Layne.

  • Haha, is that a cucumber in Jerry's pants? ;)

  • I listen every disco

  • My old AIC

  • WOW geniale :)

  • At least Jerry´s excited

  • I puked when I saw Layne dressed in drag

  • I like this one a lot

  • this is the best alice 'n chains song :)

  • The lyrics are really simple but I actually really love them. You can tell he lived by them to a certain extent in order to become such a great musician.

  • This is not 1987, it's actually in early 1986. Because Layne had joined some kind of a funk project in 1987, (and that's confirmed by Jerry Cantrell) and Layne also recorded vocals for the song "It's Coming After" by Second Coming in 1987 (Confirmed by Staley himself). And the point is that Layne sounded much younger in these songs with "Alice N Chains" than he did in 1987. When Layne was 17 he played in Sleze, and when he was around 18 they changed the name and recorded these demos.

  • I like this stuff just can't believe people considered them to be grunge back in the 90s but oh well I guess it was the whole Seattle thing. I love love Layne's voice and sometimes I wish I could go back and get him.

  • the begining of this song remainds me of Metallica version of Am I evil

  • why layne sounds exactly as paul dianno?

  • Thank you so much for uploading this Claudia. Keep 'em coming.

  • Keep in mind that Layne is the only member who survived into Alice in Chains. According to their bio, this incarnation included "guitarist Nick Pollock, bassist Johnny Bacolas, and drummer James Bergstrom, performing around the Seattle area playing Slayer and Armored Saint covers."

  • You do realize that the "Alice N' Chainz" that Layne, Nick, John, and James were a part of broke up. Then layne joined Jerry and Sean and the band "Diamond Lie" which changed its name to the current day "Alice In Chains"

  • but apprently Layne reccomended to Jerry that he play with Sean and Mike. Thats how Diamond Lie started.

  • @Wesson4 I read something about Layne giving Jerry a place to stay, so they started jamming together, but Layne was still in a band, so Jerry made his own band. When that happened Layne said fuck it, jumped his band and with with Jerry. That's what I heard.
