@Sinosure Dont wanna piss on your parade mate but egg boxes DO NOT work for sound proofing panels lol! It is a widely known thing, but its also a myth lol.

@owusubonsuiv They might work well for reflecting or dispersing 'smaller' high frequency soundwaves (solid material and varied shape/ angles present good dispersion qualities) but thats not what you want in a recording/ mix room, you don't want sound reflecting from other surfaces off your speakers, you want the sound to go straight to ya ears. That's why egg cartons don't work as sound proofing treatment, they don't 'absorb' any soundwaves, but whatever you say...

@djdiscomikki I don't own the space. ( rehearsal space) We are not allow to build on the walls.There are about 45-50 bands in this building. Most bands here use it too, i think it help a little.The egg cartons cut 20% of the noise coming in my space.
