St. Joseph's Indian School - Lakota Students Interviews

Congratulations to all the students at St. Jo's from a "white eyes" down in Texas. Since working on a project on the Ft. Peck Res a few years ago, I have made it a mission of mine to learn about the great history of Sioux People. What I have learned is the great injustice that these People and most other Native Americans have suffered at the hands of my forefathers. I am honored to help in this small way to make a life better. THANK YOU to all the staff at St. Jo's for this Great Work!

Wow....it almost brings me to tears (of joy) to see these kids excel. They deserve so much, and have endured so much in their young lives that to finally have a happy ending is nothing short of a miracle. I, myself, wasn't raised on the rez, but having family there i know it ain't exactly a vacation spot. Fr. Steve and staff are doing wonders over there, and i am proud to see our kids have a shot to a bright future. God Bless Y'all!! Nuktala-ho [In the ways of peace!!]
