@dichotomonkey1 I don't want to get in a fight with you since I understand you have your opinion, but you should know that no one has been able to prove that she slept with either of the Kennedys; it's a rumor and it shouldn't be tossed around like fact.
Secondly, to me, she's a symbol of dedication. When she was a young girl, she was molested at least twice, grew up in different homes because her mother was unstable and she never knew her father. She found something that made her shine.
@dichotomonkey1 (continued) and that was acting and singing and dancing. She followed her dream with all the dedication and heart and soul she had, and she kept fighting for it, using what she had to make it happen and to try to be happy. She may have lost her battle, but to me I deeply respect her for how driven she was and how hard she worked for what she wanted. She was charismatic and smart and left her mark in the world, but all people remember her for are rumors and her sex appeal.
Whoever thinks that Marilyn wasn't a true actress needs to watch 4:12
