  • The director should have kept this in the movie, but Biff should have shot Strickland thru the back of the head exiting thru the nose and mouth [spraying his son with blood and teeth] and we wouldn't have to hear the lame 'discipline' line.

  • Press 7 to hear a whiny bitch.

  • the boy is the father of stickland

  • Butthead Tannen.

  • This explains the game's statement of Buford shooting Strickland.

  • @below what? Is some thing wrong with he earths gravitational pull?

  • That was heavy...

  • The Tannens have a thing with shooting people in the back, don't they?

  • Why are all of you so glad that this got cut? Anyway it doesn't matter. It's still canon. In BTTF: The Game, Edna (his granddaughter) says that Mad Dog shot him

  • The movie playing during the hot tub scene in BTTF 2 is the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

  • So glad they cut this out too, I read the novelisation which had this in, and it felt wrong in the book too. Its a horrible scene for this highly entertaining film. I also wished it was Sheriff Strickland that uttered the words "Get him out of that s**t" after the Tannen-Mcfly duel.

  • Are there any other deleted scenes from the 3rd movie, besides this?

  • I lied marchael.

  • slackerrr!!!

  • I thought he was going to say "Never trust a slacker"

  • I would have said remember these words son always watch your back.

  • phinal

  • gold"

  • Actually seeing as that was 100 yrs before Marty's time, Sheriff Strickland is probably the grandfather of Principal Strickland

  • Did this kid grow up to be the principel or what? Is this his father? :P

  • i think the boy is the great-grandfather

  • @irishdancer20, no he was Principal Strickland's father.

  • Sherriff probably the grandfather of the principal.

  • @peronkop the boy is probably the father of Strickland. He was about 10 to 12 years old in this scene (1885), which would make him 20-22 in 1905...about the time Principal Strickland was probably born, since in the 1955 scenes, Strickland appears to be in his early to mid 50s.

  • @peronkop no he would be 100 years old in martys school :P

  • @Garother Your point? He basicly stoped ageing between 1955 and 1985.

  • This was in the film when it came out long long ago.

  • @JayandJenn07, no it wasn't

  • at least he didnt shoot the deputy

  • @nondo12345 D: I wanted to say that.

  • Discipline! lol

  • That Stupid Mad Dog Tannan, shoots the sheirff.

  • I'm glad this was removed from the movie to! As for the iron plate scene, there is a Clint Eastwood cowboy film (I think it's "the good, the bad, and the ugly") and his character does the same scene/thing with a iron plate, but he gets up and shoots back in that film! BTF ROCKS!!!

  • It was ' A Fistful of Dollars ' the first one of Sergio Leone's Dollar-Movies!

  • yes, and i'm surprised nobody has commented that it's what biff was watching in the hot tub when marty busted in in BTTF II. deliberate tie-in of epic proportions!

  • I thought I was the only person who seemed to watch his cowboy films when I was younger, many a late night was spent watching those which wrecked me for school the next day, all worth it though!

  • @bungle2203 If you notice, in BTTF II, when Biff is in the hot tub with the girls, that movie is playing.

  • @bungle2203 Really? That's amazing. I wouldn't have guessed that considering Marty's choice for a name was CLINT EASTWOOD. Hmm......I wonder why he would do something like that?

  • @TheAnticapitor or maybe....just maybe, its because hes watching a Clint Eastwood film earlier, and the name is in his head....ooh and because hes in the "Cowboy" era, what do you reckon?

  • I always wondered why a *deputy* arrested Mad Dog at the end.

  • @dumbbo1 he was arrested for robbing the Pine City Stadge, if this scense was in this movie, then Buffert tannen would be sentence to be hand and die, if that happened, Biff wouldn't exist, so thats why this wasn't in there, and thats why Marty drop the gun instead of shooting Tannen.

  • @sideslide23 There's no saying that Buford's son -- who was probably the husband to Biff's grandma whose voice we heard in the 2nd movie -- wasn't already born by the time these events took place. Still, I guess the producers decided that showing an actual murder would detract from the fun. They should have tossed in a line explaining where the sheriff was, though.

  • Wow, it's a good thing they didn't include this in the movie. This scene would've really changed the whole mood and spirit of the fim (meaning actual violence). Even thought later in the movie he shoots Marty in the chest, there is comic relief in it because he's wearing an iron plate from a stove on his chest, and he hits Mad Dog with it. What a wise decision the editors made here.

All 3 in the series are 3 of my favorite movies of all time.

  • This is sure a deleted scene because of the dramatism, of couse that it´s also irrelevant but it´s too sad.

  • hmm strange i dont know these scene!?!? i really saw it for the first time....

  • jajaja what a dramatic scene, i don`t really think about whatch this in the movie, is something irrelevant, doesn`t need to be important

  • Mat-Dog looks pretty afro on that one.
