Then Evan said that Dylan kept saying "See, how I'm always elevating the writing? See, how I'm always elevating the writing?" So Evan says "Okay, I think it's a good idea to try to elevate the writing.... in some way." He was being funny and adorable as usual but the interviewer didn't laugh.
