Ayami Kojima is better than Takeshi Obata. I liked his art when I first saw Death Note but he's like Akira makes his characters look too much alike same goes with Tetsuya Nomura he makes his characters look so much alike. That's why I love artist like Yoshitaka Amano, Ayami Kojima, Inoue Takehiko and others!

@mashovasho Actually Amano's designs aren't the way he draw them yeah with them all being pale with cruley hair. But that's part of an art feature it's different from making all your characters the same. Really no one from Amano's art looks the same really. Tetsuya's don't look too much the same either because he changes his art style for different games. As much as I love Dragon Ball Toriyama makes all his characters from video games look like people from Dragon Ball which gets old.

@futureanimatior Actually, Tetsuya's art for this game completely butchered everything I loved about Castlevania. I did not see a place for a 'Simon Yagami'. The resemblence to many characters in Death Note is completely uncanny. You make a point with Toriyama, but I see no difference between what Toriyama has done with Dragon Ball Z vs. Dragon Quest compared to Tetsuya and Castlevania vs. Death Note.

@ChaoticRemnant I don't think so. The only similarity the two seem to share is that they both have white hair. If anything, he's St. Germain from Curse of Darkness, as he is capable of traveling through time. The evidence points to he and Aeon being related in some way, although it could just be a coincidence.

I love Castlevania, and this game is really really fun to play and has nice character desings (thanks Obata!) and nice story for a fighting game, but there's no optical effect that could make the moon look THAT fucking huge. Just look at it. It's probably larger than Earth itself.

It's too bad the game doesn't look nearly as epic as this. But oh well, Judgment was alright for a first attempt. If they can improve a lot on a sequel, fix the bugs and balancing issues, then it might end up being a good fighting game.

@ZeldaDD I ultimately had fun with it! When I heard it was going to be turned into a fighting game, my jaw hit the floor! I mean, I'm a Castlevania fan, sure, but also love the Soul Calibur series and I've played games like Mortal Kombat, which are solely fighting games. This game is similar to the game Power Stone. You can move around freely in combat and have interactivity with your surroundings.

The intro has great graphics, but as an intro it sucks, if I din't know any better, i'd probably think that this game only has like 4 players or something. Where are all of the other characters? Where did they come from? What were they doing before they were ripped out of thier own time? I mean COMEON the entire thing focuses on the stupid Simon vs. Alucard fight way too much to be a decently balanced intro.
