@LBNANY, i think my answer to the question would be the bottom , the bottom choice is the only one that is composed of 3 lines , the middle choice is made up of 2 lines and the top one is made up of 6 lines.... but that's just only my guess XD
My guess is Nathan is being a bit liberal with the numbers, in that 162 (sd 15) is only 9 points away from an IQ score of 171 of the same standard deviation, which is a genuine 1-in-1000000
What do the four given all have in common with each other? Nothing. The only one tof the three options that would also have nothing in common with the other four would be the top one.
@RemoteViewer143 I was considering the central option. Mainly because it possessed what I thought were the common qualities of the minimum degree of uniformity of morphology and the centrality of its placement in the box....nice trick question. XD
@RemoteViewer143 What I mean by a minimum degree of uniformity is that it each box option of the four we are comparing the 3 options to has a form that is made up of similar parts. Like straight lines, squiggles, triangles. I realized that was an unclear way of stating what I meant so I had to clarify :D
@RemoteViewer143 The shape is of different size, yes. But same shape type. They are similar. Hmmm...how curious. They should have told us @ the end of the series, lol!
@LBNANY There'd be no fun in that! I think the inside triangle would be considered a solid, while the outside one would not; that one is as much an outline of lines as are the others in the set.
@wholehistory not everyone is a "social creature" and certainly not everyone wants to be liked. There are very intelligent people who avoid other people unless it's absolutely necessary to contact them.
Not everyone who graduates from the Oxford or Cambridge university are considered highly intelligent. Yes, it is my honest opinion on them. Don't ask me why I say so and please do not be a bigot :D.
Of course not. Just because someone graduates from an Ivy league school does not mean they have a high IQ. When I used to be a MENSA member, there was a guy in the local chapter with an IQ of 176. He was a high school drop out and and janitor.
IQ 148, High Honor Roll, Magna Cum Laude Society member, and going to art school next year.

An IQ of 162 is one in 14 000 not a million
ohmygoshiloveapples 1 year ago
@ohmygoshiloveapples yes thats correct, an IQ of about 195 is about one in a million if im not mistaken.

@ohmygoshiloveapples
It depends on the scaling
162, sd 15 1-in-53,000
162, sd 16 1-in-18,750
162, sd 24 1-in-192
162 ratio 1-in-1394
My guess is Nathan is being a bit liberal with the numbers, in that 162 (sd 15) is only 9 points away from an IQ score of 171 of the same standard deviation, which is a genuine 1-in-1000000

@LBNANY I think I understand what you mean. Perhaps you are right, but the lower right hand item is made up of more than one shape.

Well, we are social creatures aren't we? So the most inteligent people are the ones who know how to be liked and are good at communicating...
Seems logical to me. The most powerful people on earth are usually very good ar manipulation.
