  • Well done, sir! I've been hunting around for tips for the upcoming Run For Your Lives run (and by upcoming I mean August 2012 in St. Louis). It's been many a year since I have applied latex/toilet paper/spirit gum to a face, but your vids have given me renewed inspiration to the craft. One (CHEAP) thing I remember that worked for me is using cotton balls in the same way you use toilet paper to mold a crude prosthetic around the brow and chin to create depth. Thank you for that remembrance!

  • Learned alot thanks! \m/

  • you really did ruin that boy... good job XD

  • you stole the yogscast video intro song!

  • I think you did an amazing job! My friend's son is in his schools production of zombie prom...thanks for the tutorial!

  • quit stealing music from the yogscast!!!!

  • The guy that is having makeup on his face looks soo unhappy but i understand that he must have a straight face

  • About to attempt it on my brother. :S

  • @jonagurcia how did it look like?

  • @lycan324 My bro looked like an old drunk man. lol

  • @jonagurcia hahahaha

  • Is it sad I thought the guy was hotter as a zombie? xD

  • This guy is really good!

  • the music doesnt match at ALL rofl

  • this is awesome...my first time as azombie this halloween. thanx for putting this tutorial on here :-)

  • thanks for the tutorial! I'm definitely going to send it to my boyfriend as he's doing a zombie steve jobs for halloween. your selection of music is superb.

  • PIMP AWESOME!!!! yall shoulda like gave him so COOL contacts to top it off

  • I was wondering if the Ben Nye makeup is mineral oil free? Because mineral oil breaks up latex, which I unfortunately found out AFTER I bought the Mehron bruise wheel which has mineral oil and breaks down the latex :|

Anyway, this is really good <3

  • @AutumnAngelx3 Try petroleum jelly instead of the latex. That is what I'm doing with my brother and it works well if you give it enough time to dry out.

  • That dude is hawt.

  • Next week i will go on my second zombie walk here in Rio de Janeiro, and once again, as i did last year, i watch your videos to help me on the makeup. You got the best zombie tutorials on youtube. Thank you!

  • Your videos are the best! Thanks

  • Would elmers glue work instead of liquid latex

  • @icyflowblue

    Nope

LL has a much thinner base, and is easier to remove/pick off.

  • can you use rubber cement instead of liquid latex

  • Great tutorial. One small thing: you mention a lot of colors, but aren't specific about whether those colors come with the "master bruise wheel" or whether they are extra purchases?

  • Your zombie make up tutorial (1&2) were EXACTLY what i was looking for! I've been youtubing all day trying to find anything close to an authentic zombie look. Thanks for the great tips!! I cant wait til Halloween <333

  • Can I use baby powder to set the makeup?

  • The music reminds me of sponge bob..

  • I like turtles

  • wow that guy looks like my friend Tony!! holy crap..

  • thats so cool i just tried to make my cousin look kinda like that but i need more practice

  • yogscast?

  • lol @the guy getting his makeup done. he's like : okay then.

  • THUMBS UP IF THE MUSIC MAKES YOU HAPPY :)

  • I am a makeup artist and This is Great stuff,THANKS!.....P.S. LOVE the "Sims" / Pleasentville music in the background!

  • I used to work in a Theatrical store.. great Tutorial man!

  • This is awesome man and you are really funny;) love this and the freshly dead look too. These videos are the most informative and easy with a quality result that I've found and I've been looking for weeks. I like how you use common products that I don't have to be a professional artist to know what they are! Thank you so much! I'm going to use it for Zombie Walk here in Louisville Monday!

  • This guy looks like he could be a monster truck driver but nooooo,he's doing make up tutorials instead!rock on!!

  • ive seen better

  • lololoolloollo

  • lololo

  • Where do you get liquid latex?

  • @aoifebagnall93 You get it at a costume shop, or any Halloween speciality store

  • @aoifebagnall93 seasonal halloween stores, magic shops, or for the good stuff, online. i personally like the brand Mehron

  • How long does this take to do? I'm lookin at creating a least 5 zombies for a walk

  • Great music

  • the guy getting it done is hottt

    :P

  • "Then wait 5 hours for the latex to dry.

No, it'll just take five minutes" xD

  • @KortneysAccount You can just rub the latex off. It's similar to getting dried glue off your skin, but just, FYI, it's going to feel a bit unpleasant to get it off. Do not use spirit gum, since that is an adhesive.

  • spirit gum will help to get it off. same place you buy the liquid latex....

  • @topcity59 Spirit gum is an adhesive. You can purchase spirit gum remover, but that's not made to latex removal.

  • Awesomee :)

  • He kinda looked like a fish. ^_^

  • "infected blush" lol

  • i would of gone with a more of a grayish color for the skin but thats just my prefrence

  • this music makes me very happy

  • really inspired by your stuff..! everyone does things different, it's about the end result that matters... i want the grey :) Grey is awesome! I posted my vid of a scar I did on my face, but i'm sooo going to do a zombie look now :)

  • WE KNOW ADOUT THE DAMN MAKEUP WHEEL GET ON WITH IT MAN!!

  • screw the disclaimers this is rad!

major points for the music too lol

  • Notice he uses a tissue to rub the makeup off his hand first , and then when he puts the powder stuff on he rubs it very lightly with his finger so there might not be a difference for the powder on his hand

  • @SpiritsMoon1129 If you have ever use Ben Nye make and you put translucent powder over it. Its impossible to get off. So if you never used it heads up. Soap doesnt really work , use cold cream or Vaseline (how ever it's spelled). You can use soap but I can guarantee there will still be Heavy oily theatre make-up in your pores.^^ But the thing is it is hard to get off which includes rubbing it off.

  • @SpiritsMoon1129 punkingbesner sure told you, next time use the product before TRYING to be a smartass.

  • otterpopx14 my msn in profile! Zombie Makeup Tutorial #2 - Rotting Flesh

  • music makes me want to deliver milk to white folks. : )

  • I had to watch the video on mute cuz the 1930's transportation music was sooo F***ing annoying!

  • whats the music ?

  • you suck....

  • 6:45-7:05 felt really akward

  • @sk8er485 Yea it does... damn...

  • @sk8er485 OMG I did too, the guy is just like staring at you for 00:25 seconds.(scaryyyyy)

  • Thank you! I watched every zombie tutorial i could find and didn't even practice before the big night.

We scared the crap out of the neighborhood kids (apparently, I can't share a link to my photos here but they came out great)

  • This was another great tutorial! Used this one for the First Annual Zombie-Palooza in Arlington, TX and had an absolute blast and got many great compliments on the makeup! It was the first time being made up as a zombie and I really learned alot of great techniques with your videos!! It really made all the difference!! Thank you!!!

  • The HOW THE HELL DO I GET IT OFF question...I prefer to just start peeling it off as you're having a conversation with someone particularly squeamish. The bottle of liquid latex that I had said to put on a light layer of makeup on before you apply. I used just a moisturizer and it helped the latex mixture come off fairly well. Still about like ripping off bandaids, though...not very pleasant. I've heard to try mineral oil, especially in hairy places like eyebrows.

  • This is awesome. I used it today to be Zombie Batgirl...it was amazing, even for a first-timer! The toilet paper thing ends up looking waaaaay better than any of those pre-made latex "wounds" you can buy. Thanks so much for a great tutorial and a fantastic video!

  • im trying to stay focused and think dead but this music is making my happy!

  • i did the freashly dead one of these and its awesome!

Im showin this one to my sis cuz she wants to do a been dead a while kinda thing

  • I love you.We should date.

  • awesome thanks for the video, I look all over the place for the same makeups and finally found them over the past few days. Looking forward to putting it on tonight.

  • omg i went to help out at the pirates of emmerson in pleasington and i swear that liquid latex smelled like nasty rotting fried shrimp or something...it was horrible Dx

  • @animevampire8679 i love it, it's juxtaposition

  • MAN SUCH A GOOD TUTORIAL! I'm just scared that mine wont turn out as good, especially since im doing everything myself lol

  • @Paduch ME 2! and i went cheap with the 'SCARY CLOWN' $2.99 makeup kit from 'Spirit'

  • awesome videos. your music reminds me of ren and stimpy. lol

  • Thank Goodness He Said "Baby Powder" as an Alternative to The White Powder. Great Tutorial!!

  • when i put the latex on and u said wait 5 hours

    i cringed a bit.

    :[

  • Thanks!

  • what kind of sponge to you have to use??

  • Awesome tutorial!

  • goodbye juicystar07 hello otterpopx14

  • THANKS! Very awesome

  • I love this tutorial!!

and LOVE the music ! It makes it different, a nice contrast to the makeup.

    Great stuff!

    : )

  • I love this tutorial!!

and LOVE the music ! It makes it different!

    Great stuff!

  • I love this tutorial!!

and LOVE the music ! It makes it different, makes it stand out!

    Great stuff!

  • What's with the cheeky music?

    Awesome tutorial anyway O_o

  • What do you think about scar putty versus the latex + tissue method?

  • now please... HOW THE HELL DO I GET IT OFF

  • @KortneysAccount Liquid latex has a removal kit also, to get the makeup off use makeup removal or soap stuff. LOL O_O

  • @KortneysAccount

Hmmm.... Did you try baby oil?

  • @KortneysAccount i think for the latex you just peel it off :)

  • @KortneysAccount hahahahaa this made me laugh out loud! I cant picture your face will all the shit on it lol

  • Respond to this video... i meant i "can" picture your face sowwy

  • @KortneysAccount

Hot water, and patience. Also, it helps the process if your skin is well moisturized with lotion & you've applied vaseline to the latex-covered areas prior to putting it on.

Hope this helped a few people out there :)

  • @KortneysAccount With chlorine.

  • the music sounds like spongebob shopping XD

  • Nice music !

  • sweet.. your the best howto for this topic....

  • The music is so inappropriate, I love it! Feels like.. It should be a Tom and Jerry cartoon. Or maybe Bewitched!

  • kick ass..

  • Great background music! So festive! Thanks for the tutorial!

  • ooOoo. makeup artist is hot

  • wanna get married?

  • best video!!

  • I did a bunch of scars on my arms, and they look so real. Thankyou! :D

  • What store did you get the Bill Nye wheels? What halloween store.....

  • @valeriexrobert dude, if you get an answer, mind shooting it to me? i have no idea where to look either :\ it's Ben Nye, btw. Bill Nye does science, not make up :)

  • exactly what is the green stuff your applying to the whole face/ is it powder?

  • I have seen better, and I've done well not as good as yours because your skills is all about coloring as far as I've seen it, but Man the fact that it stays there is Amazing! and the depth of coloring the lips and eyes are freaking great! that were I did Bomb and the only reason why I said I did, is because I'm going to try that out right now! thanks Buddy!

  • Your background music is flippin' awesome! Haha.. And you're a great make-up artist. :D

  • Your two videos are the best two zombie makeup tutorials I've seen. Absolutely wonderful!

  • Great tutorial!

What kind of powder do you use in the end?

  • my god i love u i need help and u gave it!!!!!!!!!

  • lots of soap & or shampoo "lots!" gets liqiud latex out of hair with the least pain & loss of hair.

  • Brilliant work, and I appreciate the fact you were specific on the Ben Nye color wheels. Not everyone knows what to buy, and cheap greasepaint plates from a halloween shop are a pain in the butt.

But what if you have an allergic reaction to liquid latex? I'd like to be a more decayed zombie, but cant find anything that doesn't require spirit gum or latex. I've heard some things about unflavored gelatin and glycerin..but I'm concerned how long it'd stay on. Any ideas?

  • @enoonmai21

I've heard that white Elmers school glue will also work. My sister is going to use it this year because she is also allergic to latex. Do a practice run to see how long it will last.

  • u rock!

  • u rock!

  • Are the creyola real paint brushes or make up brushes? Also does the laytex rip the t.p? Also how do you get the laytex off?

  • this is a sweet tutorial. I'm definitely using these tips this year!!! thanks for the great tutorial.

  • good music!

  • Hello! I wanted to ask, instead of the green make up for the face, I was wondering if I could use the death wheel colors instead?

  • you need alooot more blood but either than that it looks good

  • @otterpox14

Hi, I want to have a really good looking Zombie facepaint, one with more than powders, but I have no experience in makeup whatsoever. Any tips?

    Thanks so much!

  • This is awesome!! <33

  • I'm allergic to latex and was wondering if you know of any latex free alternatives for zombie makeup?

  • @jewbeee white liquid school glue. like the stuff from arts and crafts.

  • i have yet to find any better tutorials on this ...you rock man \m/

  • AWESOME!! I will def use these tips for the zombie prom this year!! Will blood mess it up? Thanks for showing us your awesome techniques!!

  • haha guy makeup!!

  • where do i find the makeup?

  • This is awesome stuff! thanks so much, I am doing my own make up for a zombie social this year and I will use your techniques for sure. Great job!

  • this is amazing! thank you. My boyfriend & I are being zombies this year and I will definitely be using your technique!

  • would it be alright to add blood to this after the powder is put on?

  • @morbidXhorror09 Blood is perfectly ok over powdered creme makeups and really finishes the zombie look.

  • fantastic thank you!!! This will aid us zombie beginners in our quest to scare the crap out of the neighborhood kids this weekend.

  • 5:05 i was scared you were actually tearing his skin. but then he smiled, i'm all "oh"...

  • the music is too loud and gets kind of annoying. :( it's torture watching the rest of this. I do enjoy your tips though.

  • Can you use spirit gum for this?

  • @razormusik idk mayb

  • the make up with the music reminded me of a movie called Fido, i ♥ zombies, thanx 4 the tut

  • anymore videos anytime soo?n :)

  • anymore videos anytime soon? :)

  • i geuss three people were already zombies

  • You are freaking awesome!

  • lol well fed vombie xD

  • i found out on my own yesterday that liquid latex hurts like hell removing from arms with hair! >.<

  • Thanx a whole fucking lot for this tutorial :)

Love it and am going to try it out ;)

    cheers ;)

  • u remind me of my piercer..haha :)

  • woahhhh disturbed! lol :)

  • Just a tip. I have had a hard time in the fast finding TP with out patterns or ridges. I like to use gift wrap tissue. It is a little more rigid, but it stands up a bit better.

  • impressive concepts appreciate it, has anyone tried Olay's newest product line?! it is difficult to get hold of makeup in Onset but you can recieve stunning cosmetics samples from 'Gratis Makeup Samples', their cool!

  • Add more gore...like blood and fake guts...zombies arent all about grey skin and infectiounes wounds...but your tutorials good though :)

  • What kind of powder did you use at the end? Would using baby powder work or do I need something else? :)

  • That stuff burns it smeels so bad x.x. And I had a neck peice on once.. I have fuzz on my neck and now needless to say, it's all gone.

  • Thank you soo much!! It looks so gross but it's exactly what I was looking for. I really appreciate things like this from people like you to help me out.

  • I wanna be a special effects artist and your videos have been really inspiring, you say your not a pro but do you do this for a living at all?

  • Less talking, more doing. Please? I had to wait for TEN FRECKING MINUTES to see the cute kid!! XD ASDGJAELRKJGDFIVMAe

  • gre
