How the fuck could anyone say it has a good picture i've seen this in a 40" Model next to Sonys model S300 ( a 720p resolution tv) and sony blew it out of the fucking water. Both on the same signal same cables. Just go out spend the extra 300 dollars and get a tv that isnt gonna break.

These are great for computers! I first got the 26 inch then the 37 inch now this 52 inch. I use it primarily for computer. And put it right on my computer desk. Games like Crysis, Crysis Warhead, Metal of Honor and Commandos Strike Force look amazing on this! The PIP and split screen function are very important to me incase I want to watch TV while working on the PC.

Contrast ratios only matter when your comparing brands inside themselves...Aka A sony S4100 v V4100 v Z4100 v Xbr-6, that will give you an idea of how much the quality jumps up roughly.

but you cant compare a peice of shit like this to anyone else contrast ratio because they all test it differently

THIS TV IS UNREAL VALUE! The panel is made by Sharp for the 52'' LCD's. Olevia doesn't make its own panels, they buy them. The processor is Olevia not Sharp. That's where the difference lies other then the casing.

i have an olevia 26" and I really like it. It's a great hdtv with built in tuners and i paid a whole lot less because it's not a 'big brand' like a sony, but I swear it's just as good if not better.
