Does anyone know the best way to get off old paint of a Vw Beetle I have a 1959 vw beetle the paints is cracking in a lot of of places I want to get off all the old paint so I can start preping the car for paint..
We got most of the welding done and removed the pan to find one heater channel is toast. My friend that owns it had a second Baby and put the car on hold....

How is this project going?
I have a similar car (not quite as rough) which is going to be going in for some rust repair and a paint job pretty soon.
