@NorkiddExo Pretty well forever, stock redline is about 6500 and the motors go 200-300k miles or more without problems as long as you keep up with basic maintenance. Great motor.

@OrangeCrusader I have a manual LPT 850, doing this won't throw a rod? 200,000 k's at the moment. I thought most cars safe limit was lower than the actual rev line, hence why cars like the 850 overloaded always change to forged rods and Ross pistons.

@PerChr86 yeah, I owned one of these, and once you reach a certain power point, you can throw traction out the window and they are just flat out awful off the line! however once you find traction; reeling in and blowing past them like they were in reverse was what made the 850 R so much fun.

@PerChr86 Some drivers are capable to drive Fast an Over 400bhp fwd car....AND others maybe like to drive everyday a fwd drag(more or less) car. For sure,if the driver is so stupid to full throttle in U-turn...this is no reason to say is useless over 400hp fwd but is useless for a too stupid driver/pilot. .....You see...the car has a variable power ratio ....so then,you can use 10%-90% from that @400bhp ...when you should use 10procents or 90 procents...uh,that's driver skills...:)
