  • Wow... that was amazing. Doing what they love... obviously because it makes them (and others) happy. I am just discovering Mic Christopher... and really taken by his music and the people he touched during his short life. Would have loved to have seen these boys busking... how real can it get. That truly is a moment in time that can't be recreated.

  • My new favorite video. Have to watch this daily.

  • what does mic say at the start?

  • 'play you aint going nowhere so i can have a fag' id say the same thing when im busking, shows how down to earth he was i suppose lol

  • ah legend haha

yeah he was really down to earth alright im from the same town as him (one of my best mates actually lives on his old road) and he is a total idol to me as a budding songwriter haha

  • I am happy for you that you live on that road. I would love to have met him. I love the whole community Irish musicians have. Damien Rice and Lisa Hannigan loved this guy and dedicated an album and some songs to him

  • Sounds like "do, You Ain't goin' Nowhere, mate.

  • pure brilliant!!! love it!

  • great... wish i'd been there.

  • all these videos of this busking session on grafton keep popping up, are there anymoer?

  • I second that....

  • Epic.

  • Amazing. I'm so happy to see that Glen has so much success with his album and film. It's sad the Mic Chistopher did not get to enjoy all the fruits of his talent. In a way, it must also be sad to Glen not to be able to share this success. I read a glowing tribute that Glen wrote about Mic shortly after he died. Their closesness was telling in the final moments of "Suspicious Minds" where Mic makes a guest appearance at a Frames concert and, at the very end makes two gestures to Glen.

  • Awesome! haha I love how he was just like "Fuck!" when his string broke and then just kept going.

  • this is a dylan song btw

  • a thing of beauty

  • AMAZING. You can't beat Irish music!

  • How long ago was this filmed, do you know?

  • Well it was pre-2001 anyway...Mic died in November of that year :-(

  • man ure a legend for posting

    cheers

  • Ahhhh that did my heart good. Thanks once for for yet another treasure!

  • awesome! what year was this?

  • Lovely. Thank you! :)

  • feckin brilliant

  • Nice one!

  • amazing... thank you.

  • broken string =]
