I've been listening to placebo for 6 or 7 years now.( i'm 18 )

I saw them in Dijon (France) ,Brian molko sings very well, they are all great musicians and steve forrest is very very hot (his bare chest and his blond hair at the end of the concert...) but brian never speaks to the public,he's cold.they are just there, just playing perfectly what's on the cd.

i was a bit disappointed.However, the album is wonderful.

For some reason this song reminds me of Brian in a vampire nightclub, with human bait, and the doors lock and the feasting begins as the tempo of the song increases. Lyrics fit, so does style.

It's taken a while to decide (just because there is so many choices) but this is my favourite off the new album.

Album of the year, no question about that. It's had tough competition from more popular bands but two big ones which I thought would do better were Kasabian who were hit n' miss and Muse bottled it and whored out to commercialism.

Everything else just does not have the stand out songs and variety that 'Battle for The Sun' has.

my thoughts are not a bad album some good and bad in there. If your honest its very rare new albums are as good as old because the old albums were a new fresh sound from a new fresh band. As for now we are a custom to there sound so difficult to sound fresh to us fans. Plus you can say new and old placebo such as you could say early van gogh to late gogh as an artist. Also you cant tell me this album is anyway near placebo,without out you im nothing, and black market music.

i love this album. it's an anthemic one. which is really different from their usual stuff. anthemic music is more in your face and colorful not really raw, but proud. when i think of anthemic music i think of queen, the beach boys, etc. placebo pulled it off really nicely. people who don't like anthemic rock might not like this album as much as their past albums.
