Not true Linux, and BSD PC's don't get viruses , and you can dual-boot Linux ,or BSD side by side with Windows for fee. Did you know that "Linux Mint" is free , and gets less viruses than Mac ? There is over 700 Linux , and BSD distributions , and most are free.

It's funny when I see that advert where PC has fine print when Mac OS X has similar problems but don't express them. I dont see them as OS but as Application platforms and like you said at the end of the day combining two platforms is better than just using one, which is what I do :D

A couple of things that make me interested in Macs is their support and service (retail stores treat me and my PCs like crap), the little extras like the backlit keyboard or HD webcam (which I would not have bought otherwise, so it was nice to have it included with the computer), the out-of-box experience and the ease of use of the OS.

@videodude1298 idk. i have had 1 new pc and it worked great for some time. the rest have been used and built. i have no experience with customer services on pc. i treat it like my vehicles, i can fix it and i'm not going to trust another guy's hand to 1/2 ass fixing my machine. i want to know it is done right. i have learned to diagnose and repair computers this way. the back lit keyboard like a good idea. i've heard of costly visits to the "genius bar" also. they are proprietary aren't they?

I don't know about costly visits. If you have the awesome extended warranty you get, in my experience, exceptional service and they will solve your problem whatever it is for free. They have not charged me a cent and have always done me good.
