@webeautos Ok, great. I got long tube headers for mine and was planning on flowmasters so I guess I was already on the right track. Just the regular original style flowmasters? 2 1/2 inch pipe? And thanks alot for replying

@webeautos thats great. that was exactly what I was planning to put on mine. I'm glad to know that should give me the sound I'm looking for. thanks a million
Awesome car ive been looking at dusters online all over the country kind of ironic that my favorite one was right on long island where I live. If I could have any car in the world it would be this one. Love the plum crazy purple. But what is that buzzing noise and that squeaking noise when the car starts
Yes, it's a really nice restored Duster. The buzzing noise goes on when you have the key in the ignition and the door is open, it's definitly annoying, however that's the way it was back in 1971...

@gottaluvthat240b....the original flowmaster 40 series...are the originals, I have them on my 73 duster with hedman hedders...sounds great.

1971 Dusters did not have the "Duster" emblems at the rear of the front fenders...these were first used in 73.....

I love the sound. I'm deep into restoring my 73 duster with a 340 and this is the sound I'm looking for....what kind of exhaust is under this one?
