Brother let me explain to you what we mean by Raj Karega Khalsa. It is true that it means only the pure will rule. That is irrespective of which religion or cast you are. Vahaguru or Allah or God which is ONE for all, with his gracious glance, only allows pure souls into Gods kingdom whom will rule (Sadh Sangat is the company of Holy people who completely dedicated to God) this is the true kingdom and the souls true income.

I will name one ....Maharajah Ranjeet Singh. SHERE PUNJAB. Loved by all religions in India.

He even protected muslims - and gave many high ranking positions in his cabinet. Islam flourished under his reign - and this is why his Punjab had so many muslims which in the future led to a Pakistan. Sikhs were hunted and killed under many Moghul Kings as they were Muslim Fundamentalists.

What are you talking about? The Muslim Kings eventually lost all their territory. They got into India because of complacency of the Indian Kings. Indian Kings didn't understand that these were Islamic zealots, so they paid the price. But Maharaja Ranjit Singh and Chatrapati Shivaji eventually defeated the Islamofascists and were the greatest kings immediately before the British arrival.

First of all thanks for your comments brother. I think if you dig deeper into your comment above you'll find a simple flaw. Shri Guru Nank Dev Ji is founder of the Gurus House. The Emperor Babur attacked Eminabad and captured Guru Ji with his companions and imprisoned them. Only when he saw the greatness of Sikism did he folded his hands and bowed and begged forgiveness. Akbar my friend was truely a great King but came after Babur. Sikism has survived through Gods Grace.

Brother, although I dont carry "singh" as my surname but I think I am cousiously sikhs, at the times when my subconcious mind is contemplating on social complexities n its wellfare. Please do not call Sikhism "religion" its demeaning it. Sikhism is a "way of life" rooted in values rather rituals which is a hallmark of "religion". Religions, see world as "we n they", sikhism's essence is not that. Its a karma-yogi path. Karma driven by awareness of Dharma (righteousness).

Growing up I always called myself a sikh but I never was truly proud of it. A few years ago when I began reading about Maharaja Ranjit Singh and how the sikhs had such an influence over punjab even though we were a minority allowed me truly become proud of sikh history. We have a history of just and honour, a feat not many cultures can boast.
