I mean really, the Sharks have a better team than Chicago. They just got beat though. Chicago got lucky. It's not like they blew the Sharks out every game. Every game in that series except game 2 was decided by only one goal. It could have gone the other way very easily.
O.K one, I write what other people said about this video. Second, Your Sharks would have already won a stanley cup if they weren't playing mediocre hockey like the Hawks did under Dumbass Wirtz for the past 40 Seasons. Third and Finally, i'm from Minnesota, where hockey is fun, and I know about hockey.
yeah, I remember this game. The refs were awful. They called a penalty on the hawks that should have been a double penalty at the least for both teams that lead to the sharks tieing goal. Plus all the missed calls. Then the hawks played them again and the refs were shit then too. yet the hawks still won. I believe the hawks are a better team then san jose. Makes me wonder though about san jose's success at home.

Don't kid yourself man. I just watched my team beat the Sharks, and I know they're still the class of the league.
The Hawks lack size, and they lack experience. A team like the Sharks would destroy Chicago in a 7 game series.
San Jose has just as much talent; they have more depth; they have more offensive punch from the back-end; they have superior goal tending; they have size/physicality both up front and at the back; they have experience; and they even have a black guy. Check and mate.
Have you seen any of the games with the Hawks and Sharks this year. Game 1was before the hawks put togeather the team they have now. Game two the sharks had to win in OT with a bad penelty to tie it and many no calls. Game 3 the sharks get 1 given to them and the hawks have one taken away. Yet they still out play the sharks to win 4-2 in a game that should have been 5-1. Yeah, even with the refs and home advantage san jose couldn't win in regulation and got destroyed in the secound game.
Plus the Sharks are playing in one of the weakest divisions and probably won't have first come the playoffs. It seems to me you need to analize your team a little more than you have. And you must think your cool with you "check and mate" remark. You must be the coolest kid in the 8th grade.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I was in 8th grade in '01 buddy. You need to do your research if you think that regular season victories mean shit all. I can make a positive up here in Vancouver too. The two times the sharks beat the Canucks this year in regulation, Luongo didn't play. So that must mean that just cause they went 1-0-1 with him in net that were a better team right? It doesn't work that way. The sharks will freight train any of the other western conference teams in the playoff picture other than perhaps Detroit.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Also, your comment about the Pacific being the weakest division is asinine. The Central has been in the bottom two divisions in total wins (With the Southeast) for YEARS. The only good Central team this entire decade has been Detroit. It's only this year that teams like the 'Hawks and the Jackets have had a sniff of success. You must not have been looking east either because the Northeast blows, and the Southeast is widely considered to be the weakest division in the sport.
Standings Based off of Statistics for Division come out like this. (and no these are not my results, they are the NHL's.)
1. Central
2. Atlantic
3. Northeast
4. Northwest
5. Pacific
6. Southeast
2nd place in the Pacific division is 18th in the NHL. And barly an 8th seed. And if they drop out there could be a possibility that every Central team could be playoff qualified. Looks to me that the Central is so much stronger than the Pacific, and once again the pacific is "one" of the weakest.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Ohh boo hoo the sharks won this game maybe with help from some poor calls. The sharks haven't been getting any help from the recent struggles on the road and we don' t whine and make excuse about. Just because the other teams in our divisions suck doesn't mean the Sharks automatically suck. My point is that when calls go your way you take 'em because another day you get the shor end of the stick. Every team in the NhL has had its share of lucky calls.
Your coment is once again unrelevent to the conversation. If your not intelligent to keep trend, maybe you should sign off, delete your screen name, and finish the 8th grade. Until you can post a comment to is relevent to the current conversation, you will continue you be disregarded.
You're quoting me standings from this year. When did I ever say the Pacific was the hottest div this year? If you tally up the pacific wins in the last decade it would roll over the Central. You don't need to look up standings to know that either. Earlier in the decade the Kings were a good team, and even the Coyotes had some success in the early 00's. The Jackets have never made the playoffs, the Predators haven't won a playoff series, and the Hawks and Blues have been bottom feeders for ages.
Oh your refering the sharks losing to the hawks in a Shootout when they had a 4-1 lead in the 2nd period and having half our team from the AHL! HAHA! Sharks are once agian no.1 in the west. with 107 pts. How many the hawks have? Shootout ability won't save your asses in the playoffs!
Yeah, you apparently didn't watch the game, a total of 3 goals were given to you. Two were fluck luck goals that got put in by a blackhawk player and the tieing goal only occurred cause it got caught in the refs skates and he created a San Jose break away. So I suppose 3 fluck goals. Yeah, lets see 2-5. Yeah, sharks aren't in first either. They didn't even deserve a point. Face it, San Jose isn't that good. Twice now they have been given goals and they still can't beat Chicago.
Honestly dude, just STFU. I didn't make a video that bashed the blackhawks, just selected highlights. You seem to search for every blackhawks video on youtube and then bash the fans of the other team. Stop being a troll. The record for head to head matchups is 2-2 and it would be a fun matchup in the playoffs. Leave it at that.
You do realize that the Sharks best two way player was back in SJ for the birth of his child right? Yet the Hawks still blew a huge lead and the Sharks came back to get a point. Stop quoting regular season games, they don't mean anything. By your logic the Canucks will thrash the Hawks in the playoffs because the last time the two teams met, Vancouver blew them out of the water. Small, young teams don't get it done in the playoffs. The Hawks will be a good playoffs team, but it will take time.
First off the Blackhawks beat the Canucks twice this year. Canucks won when chicago was on an 8 game road trip with injuries going. All I'm saying is SJ is not a first place team in the Conference, and especially not in the League. As far as your theory on a young team, you'll remember the Aves won the Cup in there 1st season. Can't get much younger than that.
By the way, Hawks didn't blow shit in this game. Sharks scored 3 goals off luck. Stuff no one could have seen coming or prevented. Sharks didn't deserve that point they got. Everyone who watched that game knows that. Perhaps you should have watched the game before commenting.
The Bruins? Sharks owned them the only time they met. Worth noting that it was in Bean town too.
The Wings? Osgood can't stop a puck.
The other eastern seeds have been plagued by inconsistency.
San Jose has been nearly unbeatable on home ice this season. (31-3-4) And if they hold the #1 seed, as long as they win at home, they could lose out on the road this post season and still win the cup. 20-12-7 isn't exactly a poor road record either.
Lets see who's better than the Sharks, I could say Detroit is in the running, Boston for sure. As far as the Canucks being better than the blackhawks, not sure how you assume that, the series with us and them is 2-2 and we currently have more points then them in the standings. As far as the sharks record goes. When we played there twice, the officiating sucked. So makes me wonder whats gone on all year. And your guys schedule coming up. Wow, it will be pathetic if you don't win them all.
I think this is gonna be a good one too. They are tied on the year (I think), but when the Hawks beat the Canucks in the season, it was when they were disciplined. Which they have been good this playoffs. Either way its gonna be exciting. Could go either way.
Both teams learned a lesson in game 1. Too bad for you guys, yours cost you a game.
Canucks exploited the Hawks youth on the GWG.
(For the record, the season series was tied, but the Canucks went 2-1 with Luongo in net; outscoring the Hawks 11-3 in the two wins)
This series will be tough on both teams.
The Canucks haven't played a team with a decent back end yet; and the Hawks haven't played a team with a healthy defense. Not to mention the best goalie in the league after Brodeur.
I really don't think the Canucks exploited the Youth of the Hawks. I'm sick of that argument. I think by now the hawks have proven their youth is not an issue. The issue is having to travel for Calgary to Chicago and then back to Vancover. Expecally when Chicago deserves the home ice advantage in this match up. As far as the last 2 games, Chicago was not healthy, and they were being frustrated and letting there emotions get to them. With out Luongo, the Hawks would easily take this one.
@monox2k "The Hawks lack size, and they lack experience. A team like the Sharks would destroy Chicago in a 7 game series."
Funny you wrote this comment and it bit you in the ass. Not only did the Hawks win the Stanley cup the year you stated it they also swept the Sharks in the process. That's kinda humorous the crap some cocky no cup fans say about their team.
@Kartracer6 I'm not a sharks fan. Using logic to ally yourself with what in most cases would have been reality doesn't make me a fan of a particular team.
Nine times out of ten, the things that I stated make a difference. Normally a team doesn't win the cup when their average age is seemingly under the age of consent, and they lack size/playoff experience. Every once in a while it happens.
That doesn't make my logic any less sound.
Also, they won in 2010, not 2009. So technically, I was right.
@monox2k 2009 or 2010 your theory still doesn't work. 2009 they made a much deeper run then the sharks ever did and 2010 the 2 played each other and instead of the sharks sweeping the hawks as you predicted it the Hawks instead swept the Sharks. So technically you were wrong. Age and experience isn't usually a key aspect. It's Chemistry and knowledge of the game. As for size. In the new NHL Size (if your refering to toughness) is beginning to become an unneeded tool sadly
@efrainthegreat 2 years later I don't fully remember why it was controversal. If I recall I believe that the ref waived off a goal for the hawks in regulation that was clearly a goal and caused the game to move to OT. But hey you realize the sharks can't even make it to the finals and the Hawks got a cup right? On top of that you got swept by the Hawks last year. I'd really think before commenting next time
@Kartracer6 well i guess well see on saturday huh? but by the way, the sharks have owned the hawks all year long, so the hawks have kind of lost bragging rights to the sharks.
@efrainthegreat your talking about regular seasons when the Hawks were massivly hurt by injuries and comparing it to a Stanley cup championship? Really? LOL Hawks got bragging rights till the next Cup champ is crowned. honestly hawks have probably gone through the toughest season with injuries, trying to get new chemistry, and still not fully rested from last year and they sit 4th 3 points less then the Sharks.
@efrainthegreat Well no real way to compare that comment but of the 2 teams the Hawks have gone through a much greater struggle and still have playoff hopes and a possibility of repeating, the sharks on the other hand....will probably just choke again like they always do.
@efrainthegreat your talking about Flordia that in no way you would ha ve beaten with the goalie playing like that? They where highly lucky to beat us 41 shots to 15 shots just one of those unlucky nights that a goalie gets hot then Tampa Bay who won on a highly controversal shootout goal? Who gives a fuck who beat us. Stanley cup bitch ever seen one?
@Kartracer6 tampas goal was not controversial, your sucky goalie just got beat really bad. btw, niami said that he hated being on the hawks last year in an interview. just shows u how much everyone hates them
@efrainthegreat It was highly controversal. The media talked about it for days. LOL and your a moron. Niemi didn't say he hated being here he said he was upset because they chose Hjalmarrson over him and that he felt he should have been thought of as a higher priority. Which is fine if that's the way he plays maybe he isn't the right picture for this team. Hawks are team developed and not developed around 1 star player.
@efrainthegreat Your saying we suck cause we lost to probably the best team in the Eastern Conference and we lost in OT on one hell of a lucky goal when we were clearly out playing them?? LOL what a dumbass you are. STFU moron, typical out of market hockey fan who knows nothing of the sport.
@Kartracer6 well the caps are not the best team in the eastern conference because the sharks beat them. and i am not an out of market hockey fan because for one, i play hockey on a team, and for two i probably know more about hockey than u. i will give the hawks credit for kicking the sharks ass tonight, but we had a very, very off game, and we already won 3 others against the hawks this season
@efrainthegreat Do you not know realize what out of market fan means? LOL I've studied the sport of hockey so don't act like you know more them me. I've corrected so many people in the past it's not funny. You randomly comment me about something that happened 2 years ago then have the nerve to say the 2010 Stanley cup champions suck after they swept the sharks in the playoffs? I didn't imagine the sharks would be much of a threat with the team much healthier then in december.
@efrainthegreat I'm talking new teams, expansion teams, or teams in area's of the country that don't typically affiliate to hockey, Ex) Florida Panthers, San Jose Sharks, Phoniex Coyotes. Teams that are only put here to expand the market but haven't been around long enough to fully understand the sport. And I believe San Jose has only been around since the early 90's which makes your fan base fairly new to the sport.
@Kartracer6 really, thats interesting because half of the san jose sharks fan base is outside of california so obviously, you are wrong. and at the games pretty much every one kows whats going on and all the rules. the only exceptions are the small children and the occasional stupid drunk girl. plus the sharks have sold out 11 strait seasons so i think we have a pretty good fan base.
"Half of the san jose sharks fan bas is outside of california" - LOL that's got bandwagon fans written all over it.
"Plus the sharks have sold out 11 strait seasons" - Ok first off in 2008 season that streak was broken, second of all that doesn't mean your fans are smart it just means for startes last I checked San Jose has the 6th Cheapest tickets in the league on average and a smaller stadium compared to some.
@Kartracer6 hp pavilion is the fifth smallest stadium in the league. but it doesnt matter cuz it makes the atmosphere even sicker. the crowd is lowder, the horn sounds better, and it sells out quicker. it also makes it so less fans from other gay teams can get in. and im pretty sure the steak hasnt been broken yet. trust me.
@efrainthegreat it was broken in the 07-08 season. I looked it up. And of course it sells out quicker it's tiny. Look at the United Center we sell out games and we've got one of the largest stadiums in the league and we still can't manage to have room for everyone.
@Kartracer6 the blackhawks only sell out an average of 19 games a year. I LOOKED IT UP. well even if the streak was broken in 07-08 they have sold out every other game. thats pretty good.
@Kartracer6 well i know for a fact the sharks sell out more games than the hawks. plus you guys have the advantage of having a very old franchise. the sharks have extremely good fans for being such a young team.
definitely not in hd

I have NHL center ice, I did watch the game.
First off: Young = players age, not franchises age.
The Avs were not a young team when they won in their premier season. Leaders Joe Sakic, Forsberg and Roy were all in their prime.
Second, after last Sunday's game vs the Hawks, I think it's safe to say that the Canucks are the better team. (As of now at least)
You guys are going to have a good team in years to come, but your success in this years post season will be limited. Count on it.

If I recall I believe that the ref waived off a goal for the hawks in regulation that was clearly a goal and caused the game to move to OT. But hey you realize the sharks can't even make it to the finals and the Hawks got a cup right? On top of that you got swept by the Hawks last year. I'd really think before commenting next time
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 well i guess well see on saturday huh? but by the way, the sharks have owned the hawks all year long, so the hawks have kind of lost bragging rights to the sharks.
efrainthegreat 1 year ago
@efrainthegreat your talking about regular seasons when the Hawks were massivly hurt by injuries and comparing it to a Stanley cup championship? Really? LOL Hawks got bragging rights till the next Cup champ is crowned. honestly hawks have probably gone through the toughest season with injuries, trying to get new chemistry, and still not fully rested from last year and they sit 4th 3 points less then the Sharks.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 well the hawks and the sharks have both gone through big changes, the sharks are just the better team this year, bottom line.
efrainthegreat 1 year ago
@efrainthegreat Well no real way to compare that comment but of the 2 teams the Hawks have gone through a much greater struggle and still have playoff hopes and a possibility of repeating, the sharks on the other hand....will probably just choke again like they always do.
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 well the hawks just lost against two teams that the sharks beat easily this year so obviously, the sharks are better
efrainthegreat 1 year ago
@efrainthegreat your talking about Flordia that in no way you would ha ve beaten with the goalie playing like that? They where highly lucky to beat us 41 shots to 15 shots just one of those unlucky nights that a goalie gets hot then Tampa Bay who won on a highly controversal shootout goal? Who gives a fuck who beat us. Stanley cup bitch ever seen one?
Kartracer6 1 year ago
@Kartracer6 tampas goal was not controversial, your sucky goalie just got beat really bad. btw, niami said that he hated being on the hawks last year in an interview. just shows u how much everyone hates them
efrainthegreat 11 months ago
@efrainthegreat It was highly controversal. The media talked about it for days. LOL and your a moron. Niemi didn't say he hated being here he said he was upset because they chose Hjalmarrson over him and that he felt he should have been thought of as a higher priority. Which is fine if that's the way he plays maybe he isn't the right picture for this team. Hawks are team developed and not developed around 1 star player.
Kartracer6 11 months ago
@Kartracer6 well u guys just lost against the caps so the hawks suck. sharks beat them twice and niemi got a shutout 2-0.
efrainthegreat 11 months ago
@efrainthegreat Your saying we suck cause we lost to probably the best team in the Eastern Conference and we lost in OT on one hell of a lucky goal when we were clearly out playing them?? LOL what a dumbass you are. STFU moron, typical out of market hockey fan who knows nothing of the sport.
Kartracer6 11 months ago
@Kartracer6 well the caps are not the best team in the eastern conference because the sharks beat them. and i am not an out of market hockey fan because for one, i play hockey on a team, and for two i probably know more about hockey than u. i will give the hawks credit for kicking the sharks ass tonight, but we had a very, very off game, and we already won 3 others against the hawks this season
efrainthegreat 11 months ago
@efrainthegreat Do you not know realize what out of market fan means? LOL I've studied the sport of hockey so don't act like you know more them me. I've corrected so many people in the past it's not funny. You randomly comment me about something that happened 2 years ago then have the nerve to say the 2010 Stanley cup champions suck after they swept the sharks in the playoffs? I didn't imagine the sharks would be much of a threat with the team much healthier then in december.
Kartracer6 11 months ago
@Kartracer6 ok then, what is an out of the market fan?
efrainthegreat 11 months ago
@efrainthegreat I'm talking new teams, expansion teams, or teams in area's of the country that don't typically affiliate to hockey, Ex) Florida Panthers, San Jose Sharks, Phoniex Coyotes. Teams that are only put here to expand the market but haven't been around long enough to fully understand the sport. And I believe San Jose has only been around since the early 90's which makes your fan base fairly new to the sport.
Kartracer6 11 months ago
@Kartracer6 really, thats interesting because half of the san jose sharks fan base is outside of california so obviously, you are wrong. and at the games pretty much every one kows whats going on and all the rules. the only exceptions are the small children and the occasional stupid drunk girl. plus the sharks have sold out 11 strait seasons so i think we have a pretty good fan base.
efrainthegreat 11 months ago
@efrainthegreat
Kartracer6 11 months ago
@Kartracer6 hp pavilion is the fifth smallest stadium in the league. but it doesnt matter cuz it makes the atmosphere even sicker. the crowd is lowder, the horn sounds better, and it sells out quicker. it also makes it so less fans from other gay teams can get in. and im pretty sure the steak hasnt been broken yet. trust me.
efrainthegreat 11 months ago
@efrainthegreat it was broken in the 07-08 season. I looked it up. And of course it sells out quicker it's tiny. Look at the United Center we sell out games and we've got one of the largest stadiums in the league and we still can't manage to have room for everyone.
Kartracer6 11 months ago
@Kartracer6 the blackhawks only sell out an average of 19 games a year. I LOOKED IT UP. well even if the streak was broken in 07-08 they have sold out every other game. thats pretty good.
efrainthegreat 11 months ago
@efrainthegreat 19 a year??? LOL they have been selling out like crazy every game the last 3 to 4 years.
Kartracer6 11 months ago
@Kartracer6 well i know for a fact the sharks sell out more games than the hawks. plus you guys have the advantage of having a very old franchise. the sharks have extremely good fans for being such a young team.
