While this was a fantastic show (my favorite show) I think it's a good thing it ended when it did. Just look at The Office. The office Seasons Two and three were complete genius, but the fourth was less so. The Office's quality declined more and more until it became something slightly more intelligent than two and a half men. With arrested development, the series quality never waned, never got less funny, which may have happened is it went on for longer than it did.

@ndgoinalltheway your wrong. Fox did cancel Arrested Development. Mitch said that he went as far with the series as he wanted to because Showtime offered to pick up the show with one condition Mitch must come with the show. Fox told the cast and crew of Arrested Development that they were only getting one more after the second season. Plus if you actually watched the show you would know there are many subtle hints that they were being canceled and they weren't fond of Fox's choice to do so.

This is the best show that ever existed. I actually use this show as a way of judging somebody's character. If someone doesn't like this show,chances are that the person's an asshole. And probably a serial killer.
