I have been predicting this. What is different about this then protests are news media jumps on in other countries? The US govt is supporting the oppression of its people (via the lobbyist who buy the rich and corporate agenda's). In this day and age of technology there is know need for lobbying. Polling of the will of the people is completely available so as to support a truly democratic form of govt.
If these protests are to keep going, then the protesters need to make there message coherent, stay peaceful, and find political solutions through the unions, and any person that gets arrested should contest there tickets, force the police to show up and defend there injust actions in a court of law.

Theyl either be offered something and stop protesting because theyre happy they got something out of it or the media will stop broadcasting it and the movement will fizzle out. I think the whole system needs to be thrown away and look for a new way. Look at how ooutraged we are with the bankers and politicians, i can garuntee tramps and homeless people are even more outraged with us for not helping them and supporting the system for so long.
