Thank you @aljernon and @Laykoz I have found wikipedia on the infamous song 1960 Floyd Cramer Last Date instrumental and Skeeter Davis recorded the song with lyrics in the same year with Boudleaux Bryant titled it My Last Date With You,and in the same year 1960 Joni James made it a single and Ann-Margret and Pat Boone had their album with this song,1972 Conway Tweety new lyrics Lost Her Love On Our Last Date ~1982 Emmylou Harris:Lost His Love On Our Last Date. 1987 R.E.M. These lyrics were written for this song by Floyd Cramer, Davis wrote different lyrics. Davis's lyrics flow a lot better then the original. However Debbie Harry does the best version.......
I was 5 yrs old.....this is the first song I ever knew all the words to. My uncle wrote down the words for me and I sang my heart out to this 8 track. Love you Conway...always and forever.
Skeeter Davis did a version of Floyd Cramer's instrumental hit, with lyrics written by her and Beaudleaux Bryant, released soon after Floyd's original left the charts in 1960. Conway Twitty's version, with lyrics written by him, was a number one hit in1972, Technically, Conway's is the "answer" to Skeeter's version.

No I dont think any of them really know what country music really.. just like Taylor Swift I cant stand her music in 20 years no one will even know who they are. Music like this stands the test of time.
@LoneStarPatriot: Have you been trapped in bomb shelter for like 10 years... Because that is about how long it's been since someone has used "metrosexual"
@LoneStarPatriot Youre so damn right thank you for posting such a true statement, a real damn shame men want to look like girl want a bes where are all the really good men like conway instead of all thease f------ fags who try to be and dress like women you know what the bible states about thease freaks rbncrts
@rbncrts I would like to take the time and clarify my statement about the metrosexual comment, no they cannot sing even even 1% as good as conway and elvis sing rbncrts

@keepinitwolf88 LOL Yeah, but being drug free isn't all it takes to get there either. To say that he's not in heaven because of drugs is a really legalistic and judgemental point of view.
