i have dual cat back stingers on my 4.0. . i live in cali and my cats have to be on. so i went with some shorties and sold my LT pacesetters. your car sounds great

Do you have any like rasp from the long tubes that comes in about 3k rpms in part throttle..I was thinking mine was from not having cats..im in the process of putting cats on my longtubes. Its like a bad metal trash can rattle like someones dropping a ton of marbles in it at once.

I get alot of comments at cars and coffee and car shows from shelby guys so it must sound ok. I was not sure at first but I even have gotten thumbs up on the highway by other drivers. AZ race place put a package together on ebay, over night I got coated headers and gt offroad H pipe for 400.

Its all 2.5" pipe. Its loud, and quick on the move, lost low end but I can spool it up, I have a locker and 3.73 gears coming to make up for loss. I also run 91 in it with a performance bama tune. 5th is like a second passing gear when you hit 80.

I added everything at once. sct x3 tuner, pacesetter coated long tube headers, pacesetter gt offroad h pipe, pacesetter metal core race cats and borla stinger dual cat backs.

@clseairsppt I bought the Borla catback exhaust and I am LOVING it.Thanks for your upload which motivated me to buy it. Next up , the headers and a supercharger sometime in the future.

Are long tube headers recommended for V6 models?I am trying to search for one online and all they have got is for v8. Any help would be appreciated.

@pkrishnametal Look at stainless works headers. I believe they are the only company to make long tubes for the 4.0 v6

I might be selling my borla mufflers for 150 for both all you'd need is the tips...im not sure yet right now im not decided..I have to by some highflow cats. If i dont like it after that they're for sale.

How would you describe the overall sound in person with the longtubes when driving? Is it really raspy? I got these same mufflers but for a v6 charger not a mustang. Ive yet to install them as im saving for cams. I know they wont sound the same but just curious of the driving hard throttle sound and in cabin noise especially with the longtubes. I have longtubes as well going on. Thanks
