I have sony blu-ray GT and I can't play music from usb drive and use chrome at the same time, I don't know if that is possible on Logitech Revue, but does anyone know if this major update will allow us to play music and use chrome at the same time?

@chris978820 I have had limited use thus far due to school and other things for the blog. I saw the bug for the market and dlna was still a little buggy, I just don't know if that was because of my phone or the box. You might want to go to gtvhacker and see what they are coming up with over there. Those guys are spending a lit more time with their boxes than I am.

@Alexmurphy no ICS is coming late October or early November. Not 2012. Google said Q4 2011 and ICS is for all android systems including Google tv.

@biggerben2010 I think you are drawing conclusions. Yes ICS is supposed to be out this fall and yes Google TV is supposed to get ICS. That does not mean that ICS will be available for Google TV Devices in the fall. That is a separate team from the mobile team. That is why he is guessing it will be next year and I happen to agree with him. If they were trying to get ICS out for Google TV this fall they would have stopped building out Honeycomb and moved on.

@tenkely I did not try video streaming because I just replaced the hard drive on my computer and did not have software. I will try to test that out soon.

Will the upgrade allow revue to multitask? You know -- play music while browsing -- basic stuff computers were doing in the late 70's. Being able to view pdf files would be nice too.

This looks like it runs really smooth, which was something I was worried about considering the older hardware. The only other thing I'm wondering about is how much room is there for installing apps? With huge apps like flash and G+ (among others), my Nexus One has pretty much run out of room so I've had to uninstall more and more apps (Each update makes the apps I still have even bigger too.). Is that something that will be a problem with the Revue?

@YourMainDude1 Don't know but just judging by the polich of this build. It has to be in the next month or 2 I would guess. Also, with Sony showing new stuff at shows with HC based GoogleTV, it is even more promising that it will be soon.

@chris978820 We don't know if there will be an upgrade path from this build. I would guess there will be but we will be left to the whims of Google and Logitech.

Is there a particular home replacement app you want? I did not see any but I also did not look for it.

@channelandroid Some of the home replacements I would like on google tv are launcher pro, ADW, and mostly SPB Shell 3d. I know SPB Shell 3d is the most expensive with the least amount of features but it works and looks the best for me and runs the smoothest. and they just recently added a tablet version of SPB. so I was wondering if the tablet version would work on google tv
