Nice to see a new video Chris! A very personal video, thanks for showing us a glimpse at the start of your day! Take care mate and hope to see some more soon!!!
@nirvan That's so awesome that you guys were watching the video from Dubai!
Didn't get any painting footage, partially because I was at my Mom's place. I've only painted there once. But a painting vid will come some day in September. Hope your travels are going well!
@combatkirbyh Thanks! It's nice to know you were happy to come across a vid of mine again. Yeah, my main output on YouTube was back in 2007 (along with stuff in 2006 & 2008). Your warm reception and other people's is making me want to get back into it.
@ijustine I am blushing. How could I be one of the first people you subbed to on YouTube??? That's redonkulous!
Remember when you went on the 1secondfilm bus with Nirvan? I was watching on ustream. This past June, Nirvan came up to NYC for a four day adventure with me. 6 degrees of separation?
Thanks for uploading this. This is what Youtube is about I think. Allowing people to see into the lives of totally different people from around the world. :) Good to see you on here again too.
@johnnyfezzer Thanks! I was wishing at first that the submissions for Life In A Day were private. Especially for raw 13 min footage like this.. but it's all good in the end.
Really nice to see that people like yourself are into it. Definitely one of the best aspects about YouTube is the ability to see and learn about different people from everywhere.
I really appreciate this video. It is amazing how easily ADLs are taken for granted, not only by the mass public regarding taking care of themselves, but often we lack the ability/presence of mind to consider just what it takes to take care of and assist another person in these acivities. It is easy to see someone in a chair, and not appreciate what it took for that person to get up and ready in the morning, both the work for them, and for their loved ones. I think this video is terrific!
@Chuuie I had to look up ADLs. Yes, Activities of Daily Living are such a fundamental part of quality of life. It is amazing how much is required but also how simple it can be to make a person's life better. It just takes dedication and a willingness to help in many cases.
Thanks for the in depth comment, I really appreciate it. (Plus I learned a new acronym! :) )
@ghostwise thank YOU for the in-depth everything. I really enjoy your attitude, and how articulate you are... it really gives you a genune aura of goodness :) It why I love to watch your videos.
@ghostwise I have a feeling the days of large YouTube gatherings have come and gone... the site/community seems a bit spread out these days. However I do remain optimistic there will be another get together some day. =)
@nbwulf Yeah, I do too. But there is still a chance that another one will come together in a special way. Hopefully it'll be close enough for me to get to. I wish I could have gone to the NYC one in 2009.
@lisasimpson I do have internet at the group home.. even faster than at home. :P And I've even got a small website for my art but I've been keeping it hush hush for now.
I feel bad about the whole 888 Snap Thoughts thing. You did such an amazing job helping out that day.. The photos are just so grainy, that I'm not sure I can do anything with them.
Your mom is so amazing, I think she is one of the best moms I've ever met. She's so sweet!! Haha you totally look like you just woke up!! Good morning, Chris!
I gotta say your fuzzy arm pads there are pretty sweet. I have some material similar to it, or looks like it anyway... it feels like a teddy bear!!
Cool footage, hope you make it into the film. I bet if they use it, it will be first thing, because it's you getting ready!!
@lisasimpson Good morning, Lisa! Good to hear from you, it's been ages!
My Mom is amazing, I can't argue with that. :) And yes, I totally felt all sleepy - morning headed. It was nice to get my eyes washed.
The fuzzy arm pads are bear or sheep skin.. I've been using them so long that they have grooves from where my arms rest the most. Mom is going to have to cut some new ones out soon!
@hamed0007 Hey Hamebone! it's been a while, eh? I saw Aaron and Sebastian at Bluesfest this year. didn't have a change to talk much but still good to see them. how are you?
@mcarrollfilms That's life! Just like when we carry a camera for an entire day and nothing interesting happens and then the next day when we forget our camera, the most amazing things occur.
Hopefully I can make the cut for the grainier stuff. Good luck!
i love you chris

I am glad I met with you twice. Let's see if any of our footage will get into the movie.
conibonjovi 1 year ago
@conibonjovi Hopefully our footage will make it. I'm sure the low-res on mine will be a knock.
It was great meeting with you at 777 and 888. I especially liked that chance encounter in St. Patrick's the day after 777. That was a cool moment. :)

Your momma is so efficient in getting you ready. I second on the artwork...where is it at?
kittenstomper 1 year ago
@kittenstomper She is very efficient. It's a blessing for sure to receive care like that.
Re: the artwork. it's all on the living room walls at my Mom's place.. and then all over the bedroom wall of my room at a group home.
ghostwise 1 year ago
Seems crazy it's been just about two years since Toronto. It's good to see ya amigo... =)
Cheers... Jason.
nbwulf 1 year ago
@nbwulf yes, in 7 days time it will 8/8.!!
conibonjovi 1 year ago
@nbwulf it is completely crazy that 888 was two years ago almost to the day. I was wearing my YouTube shirt from 888 just the other day. :)
Not sure when I'll be going to another YT gathering.. maybe another big one will be organized in the north east.
Good to hear from you, Jason! :)

I love how your mom kisses you at the end!! :)
PS If that's your room, I wanna know why some of your artwork isn't hanging up in there!!!
lisasimpson 1 year ago
@lisasimpson there's another kiss in other footage Life In A Day that would have been nice to have added. i kiss her back in that one. :)
that's my room at my Mom's place. there's no art of mine in there, instead it's all in the living room, where Mom and guests get to enjoy it.
i'm living during the week at a group home, so the rest of the art is on the walls of my bedroom there. i haven't posted any videos from there.
ghostwise 1 year ago
@ghostwise Ahh I see, well as long as it's being enjoyed! So you have internet at the group home, no?
