  • Love this! It would work for so many different kinds and sizes of containers.

    Thanks bunches,

    Toodle-oo!

    BOP

  • You did a very nice job. I like to see people reusing throwaway items in their arts and crafts. :)

  • Thanks! I do crafts like this all the time. I need to show more of what I do on here. I hate to see anything usable thrown out.

  • u r good!

  • Thanks. I hope to do more craft videos soon.

  • Can I put my insignia of the horde in that trinket box?

  • I suppose you could. However, an Alliance insignia would look so much better! :)

  • Haha, oh, I don't know if I would say that. ;)

  • long live the horde!!!!

  • ALLIANCE RULES! lol!

What realm/server do you play on? I play on Antonidas.

  • That is really cool! I like the black print one, and I like the burned edges of the verses you chose. Very impressive.

  • Thanks for watching. I am glad you liked the idea. Thanks for subscribing also! I am getting ready to post another craft video today.

  • First time watching your video's seen the link on Beth's page and this is awsome..I have done this with vases and candle holders but never thought of those containers..I will be def. tryin this. Thanks for the idea..hope to see more craft video's..I love crafts

  • I love recycling. I was going to do a video showing how I recycle tea boxes, but it's basically the same as what you do. You beat me to it! Good job on your boxes. They are very creative.

  • Thanks for the compliments! Thanks for your subscription too! I will come by your channel and check out your stuff. Nice to meet you.

  • Wow! Thanks for stopping by and checking me out. Thanks for subscribing!

  • Great craft. Beth sent me. Subscribed.

  • Thanks for the sub!

  • (Beth sent me) You have made some beautiful boxes! (How much powder do you go through??? !) The fabric box is very nice - could you line the inside of the box with some felt? Would you do it the same way? - roc

  • Thanks for stopping by popparoc! These boxes have been stock piled for quite a while. Yes, you could line the inside of the boxes. I have always made them for myself so I just never lined them. Lining them would certainly make them more "finished". The way to line it would be to make a circle of felt to fit inside the top and bottom. Then 2 strips of felt measured to fit around the sides of the top and bottom. Thick tacky glue should hold the felt in place.

  • Very cool! I just might try to make one. - r

  • That is beautiful.

    Thank you for sharing

    Huggs

  • Totally Awesome!! I will have to try this one!

  • Thanks - glad you like the idea. It is SO easy to do!

  • Enjoyed your crafting instruction....very clearly stated and a lovely, pretty result too! I'll watch more craft videos for sure. Jacquie (UK) x

  • Thanks for stopping by! I am thinking on my next craft video. Glad you enjoyed this one!

  • Yes, I love to take something that was 'at the end of it's life' or on the way to trash and give it a whole new life purpose! : )

THIS WAS AWESOME! Beautiful, unique work. The feet and nobs are my favorite parts. Love the details and diversity of materials. I hope you sell them somewhere! : )

    Peace,

    Angie

PS I love boxes, so I am really serious...'box lovers' or collectors would eat them up. So, cute.

  • I am thinking about starting a whole new channel on YouTube for my crafts. I noticed that I tend to "recycle" things also and my channel would show alot of that type crafts.

I used to do craft shows - they aren't very dependable. I am currently looking for a shop to consign my crafts to. Thanks for the comments!

  • You should def. do the channel and invite me as a friend when you do. I will love to watch! : )

    Peace,

    Angie

  • What a great idea! I think I have birthday gift ideas and maybe even Christmas.. LOL

  • I think Christmas boxes would be great! You could embellish them so many different ways - with holly leaves, snowflakes, etc.

  • Cool! We used Mod Podge back in the 70's, I remember it seemed like everything in my grandma's house was decoupaged!

  • HAHAHA! Do you remember those ugly wooden decoupaged purses?!?

  • Yes I do. Bitch-ass ugly! I took an old kids metal lunch box (not a cool one) and Mod Podged it in the same way you did here. Then I lined it with a light cotton quilt batting under silk. It made a great purse and I sold it on eBay as Outsider Art ;-)

  • Now THAT sounds cool!

  • Thats so pretty! :-)

  • Very nice - a great craft idea!

  • those are wicked! such a cool idea too! :-)

  • I LOVE THIS!!! WOW!!! YAY!!

  • So cute! Now I'll have to start looking for boxes, LoL.

  • I love all the boxes you made .. very creative and artistic! Thanks for sharing.:D

  • wow

  • Headed over from Beth's page to check ya out. Those are awesome.

  • Very clever! Quite nice.

  • Thanks for checking them out!

  • those are really neat!! :)

  • love it :)

  • I love the seashell one. They are all very beautiful. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. :)

  • Thanks so much, Beth! I'm so happy you liked them. I have always saved these boxes and used them to throw earrings and rings in. One day I looked at it sitting on the bathroom cabinet and thought, "Dang, that thing is ugly - I could do something with that..." LOL!

  • I'm seriously going to go get one of those. You can get the sort they sell for traveling. I like that better than the boxes I was going to do up!!

  • Oooh how cool, I was going to be making up little Valentine boxes. Nothing as pretty as this though, so I may very well skip it and refer people here! Thank you so much for showing us how to do this! I'm totally making one. MUCH MUCH better than the little box I was going to use (just a standard box that earrings come in).

  • nice

    :)

  • Thanks for watching!

  • My pleasure. Makes me think seriously about getting artsy craftsy around the house.

    :)
