Discovered this band after watching them on BBC at Glastonbury. Following day I bought all their albums and am hooked. Can relate to this track so much and am looking forward to seeing them in the future. Just a brilliant sound, none of this electronic crap, just three guitars and drums. How music should be. Certainly best part of Glastonbury for me. New discovery and simply the best band around by far. Keep on rocking lads. Kev
it is disrespectful to compare a band, like the gaslight anthem, to killers. killers, is like a pop band, if you listen to their music, they dont go all out with passion in their songs. brian fallon, in his songs with gaslight anthem, and even just acoustic covers, the words come with his heart, and he sings with 100% passion. i cant believe you people!
they are still a incredible band, and also there thousands of bands that sound like each other these days anyway...there have been since music fucking started.
How do you hear the Killers? If they sound like anything I would say kind of a mix of Against Me! with Alkaline Trio, but they still have there own sound. Either way this band is fucking awesome.
@brittonZhanks No, no it doesn't. For example: These guys are talented. Funny, I heard the drummer talk about someone saying that and it apparently made him quite mad. I guess he agrees with me.
people have been telling me how good this band is and i finally listened. Thank god! this is incredible music! this has so much more artistic talent compared to anything ive heard in years! im a fan!
i heard their song The '59 Sound and couldn't stop listening for a little while then i forgot about them because of school and everything then I saw them on BlankTv's channel and was like I remember those guys! I love them :)
@MusicFiend2310 yea was the same story with me but im over it now and today i just gave the album to my friend who is depressed at the moment :/ hope it helps her too
@MusicFiend2310 I agree so much. Bayside has a song where they say "Wonder whats the next band to change my life" and I wondered for a long time until I found Gaslight, They changed my outlook so much. You know, in order to feel the kind of pain to relate to people like Us, Mr. Fallon had to go through some SHIT. In a way im glad he did, so he could be there to make this great record.
the first time i ever heard this band was at oxegen 09 in ireland,,,,,,,me and my friend just saw there name on the list if times for the day and noone else i wanted to see was on then so we said fuck it we will go see these...........thank god noone else i wanted to see was playing then we were absolutely blown away by them and i still love this band now :)
