The scene where Rabbit thinks he'll lose Kessie forever reminds me of when I thought the Little Ladiez forgot about me after not replying to any of my emails. That made me think that they didn't love me anymore and it broke my heart. But then, I found out they only had server issues in regard to their emails. They still love me so much because I'm their #1 fan and that makes me happy because I love them too.
Of course I bawled through this whole thing for Rabbit's sake, but Kessie's side of the story hits closer to home for me. It's horrible when you feel torn between wanting freedom and wanting your parents' love, like you can't have it both ways (even though you can). For a kids' show, this is really mature.
This had goofy moments...but, the theme of this story? A parent having to accept that their child has grown up and doesn't need them...but still having a bond of love? That's actually a pretty adult message.
I remember this was my favorite Winnie the Pooh cartoon when I was a little girl. I watched it so often that the VCR tape eventually wore out from use.
I'm almost 23 now, and it still makes me sob like a baby. <3
This one clip made me cry tears of heartbreak at the beginning, and at the end I cried tears of pure joy and peaceful happiness. That is the power of Winnie the Pooh.
@yingyangdevious How It Should Have Ended. It's an internet series of shorts that point out the flaws in movies. When you said, "This is pretty deep for a kids show," it made me think of the HISHE Ended Toy Story 3 scene where Woody goes, "This is pretty deep for a kids movie."
Bawled through the whole thing. Dang onions.

When I mean "in the beginning", I mean the beginning of this part.

I've always thought this particular teleplay is one of the best things ever written for children's television, ever.

I actually cried once when Kessie wanted Rabbit to read her a bedtime story, then my mom came into the room, and she just stared at me...

back then, disney.....actually....EVERY SHOW WAS DEEP AND HAD FUCKING BALLS, here's what happened
we saw this
we saw dinobot sacrifice himself to save the human race
we saw mr. freeze die since he didn't want anyone else to suffer
seriously, every tv show from the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s was perfect because it teaches valuable lessons to everyone, the shows today......don't

Pooh: (Stops spinning) Rabbit?
Rabbit: I change my mind! You can fly! Just.....Don't.....Go away.......Kessie............ (Starts to look sad while throwing the best carrot down)
