  • que penica me da

  • Where in the world is John D'Agostino? (to the tune of Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?)

  • hoyt what a muppit

  • HOYT CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARKINS

  • Where is John D'Agostino been? Haven't seen much of him at all in the last few years.

  • @Randleman2 He plays at full tilt poker room, in the highrollers

  • i know john's ;little brother

    Just sayin

  • If you hadn't heard of corkins you would think he was a donk but he's actually made a fortune from poker including winning 2 wsop bracelets and 2 wpt titles, but yeah that was a donk move!

  • I know Johns brother

  • so?

  • i watch this video whenever i tilt.

it reminds me that no matter how bad i run, there's someone out there running worse, for far more money

  • How big were the blinds here? If they were anything less than 20k/40k, corkins is a total donk.

  • They were less then that. Joe Cassidy made a raise to 55k so they were probably 10k/20k

  • you're so clueless lol

  • haha, Corkins is a legend.

  • hes a monkey legend, i hate fucking monkeys with dumb faces gets rewarded with monkey plays. hoyt looks like a dumb fuck.

  • If I were john I would of threw those damn chips across the table.

  • I love how Lon McEacheren and Norman Chad are so big on poker ethics and etiquette.

  • does nobody notice how sick that is for Schultz??? set over set! ouch

  • If that really is how Americans feel I hope you realize that the world runs shit and you pretend to sit at the top. In the meantime, you won't just be dealing with terrorist attacks anymore. I'd like to see you convince your countrymen to take on the whole world.

  • You can't be pissed about the results. He made what seemed to be the best play by calling, which it was.

Since nobody has any control over the results, there's no reason to...

    a) Be pissed at your opponent

    b) Question your decision

  • I would have counted the chips out ONE AT A TIME.

  • lol at 0:46

    'what the fuck'

  • lol i never noticed that before

  • 3:50 GENIAL!!! xD

  • immerhin humor aber war auch n harter bad beat

  • THe last comment was to iaguiteN

  • Fucking stupid not only makes a huge suckout but then "makes sure he is not out" for one chip you fucking monkey, he makes him double count them, and then ask him to move his chips his way?? i would throw one chip at a time to his face!!

  • Ummmm, they are playing for a lot of money, theres a guy with apparently one chip left, wouldnt you ask for a check of the chip count by tournament officials? You can never know if your out yourself in the very next hand and it is possible for D'Agostino to double or triple up and hang in there for a few hands. Stranger things have happened. Everyone is in it to eliminate the others, theres nothing wrong with asking for a recount when its so close.

  • The chip leader is never out in the very next hand, you clown.

  • I'd like to see how you fools feel when you get massively sucked out on for what could potentially be mutliple millions

  • If you notice what happened Corkins started by asking for a chip count, then after he had that he wanted to rub D'agostinis face in it by asking him to give him his chips(he strted to help himself to them then changed his mind)

The D passed them the way he did got he was by this point totally frustrated.Corkins could have been a bit more humble after winning like a right Donk

  • Actually Corkins reached for what he could, noticed how extended he already was and therefore pointed to the chips he could not reach for JDags to push. JDags pushed in anger but not at Corkins-no anger was directed at him and JDags didn't look at him-but was angry with the situation.

  • I agree with megenoita. Corkins is a very nice guy, he wouldnt do anything disrespectful and Im sure D'Agostino knows this. Dont forget they know eachother. He was frustrated because he lost his stack, he wasnt mad at Corkins. As megenoita said, Corkins couldnt really reach the stack so he asked D'Agostino to push them over. If the request is made politely, theres no reason to get mad. The only one out of line was D'Agostino, he shouldnt have done that no mater how frustrated he was.

  • This is about as bad as it gets, even by Poker Stars standards.

  • @LizzyJaye

    "even by Poker Stars standards."

    LOL, that is hilarious.

  • u only run your mouth, dude. nobody will let YOU push any buttons.

and your america will not get better with americans thinking like u.

    i am sorry for u

  • that was great 5/5.

  • maybe there's more to life than war? america has so many of its own social problems, they need a common goal to focus on just to hold their society together.

people might not have heard of ireland. thats ok. there's plenty of people who have not only heard of america, but despise everything it stands for. since you guys get fed propeganda instead of news, you think the rest of the world is on your side, or at least, has some respect for you.

    they dont.

    obama might change that though

  • theres no call for that, over the line?!? wtf i would have thrown them at him

  • :45 What the fuck!

  • hahaha yeah I caught that...he had a rough day though, started off as chip leader and was bounced quickly after getting coolered a bunch of times, so we'll let it slide

  • corkin is a stupid dumb cowboy faggot, and got lucky i wanan shove the chips over his dumb faggoty face.

  • waaah...he pushed the chips toward him, how rude! if i was d'agostino i would have thrown the chair across the room lol

  • They wouldn't sell you their country. Are you stupid?

  • He got unlucky as hell, and Hoyt made an unforgivably idiotic move all in there. Just like the announcers said if he'd bet 3-4x big blind it could have had the same result he wanted. But instead he sucks out big time, and D'Agostino was fine to shove his chips angrily at Hoyt IMO, I'd be just as angry.

  • How is that an idiotic move? Going all in with nothing is certainly a tactic most people use.

If roles reversed and D'Agostino went all in with 10-10 and Hoyt calls with 7-8 yah...that's idiotic.

Hoyt was never in the wrong. He just got very lucky.

  • Going all in there was a terrible play because all he wanted to do was steal the blinds, and stealing the blinds would have only taken a bet of 3-4 times the big blind against a random hand. What makes this so much MORE terrible is that both of them were deep stacked for the blinds at this point; theres no point in bluffing that many chips for the size of the blinds! Hoyt is a great player overall, but this mistake was really awful, but at least he got paid for it.

  • Yes it's true that you can bet with with nothing but you need a hand to call.

But this was an idiotic move and it only takes 2 words to explain why - risk reward.

  • little does hoyt know that D'agostino will rob him of all his stuff in 4 years. Go John.

  • thats so sick!!! i´ll kick the leader for shure

  • fold the 10s and wake up with kings.. if it wasnt the quad 7s badbeat which he could of laid down it would of been his KKs getting cracked so he was destined to lose.

  • That was sooo fucking sick..

  • I guess it was just one of those days where a a dark rain cloud was hanging over him all day. Horrible luck.

  • that is one of the worst plays i've ever seen made by a "pro". you're third in chips and you throw in 30 big blinds against one of only two people who can bust you.

also i don't think dean schultz got enough sympathy from norman and lon, fucking set over set, and they're crying about d'agostino who just lost 1,000 chips, boo hoo.

  • @cloudstrife1288 If you check icm nash equilibrium you will see that shoving was not bad at all.

  • D´Agostino is the unluckiest man on earth...

Laughed like hell when both his opponents floped trips and he went from 1st to last.

    lol... really sick

  • Classic Example of how even an idiot can win a poker tournament on any given day.

  • Hoyt Corkins is an idiot, he sucks out time and time again when he gets in with the worst of it.

Oh, yeah and after that sick beat, asking for a recount? What an asshole!

  • wow you all should write a book

  • this is hilarious. classic definition of a bad beat.

  • no wonder john hates tourneys lol

  • putz, que bad

  • name calling aint cool u better than that i made money in this game thanks to borgata paid for my shyt

  • another hand.. what if hoyt had jacks all the way up to aces.. either way the money was going all in iif the played street by street john wasnt gpoing to give it up

  • he deserved it he was getting great hands and busting eevry1 kings overs jacks and other bullshit he really should of let the tens go becuase if anythong he was 5050 hoyts all in was the was alot let it go..

  • you are a total moron. proabably a donkey poker player too. John HAD to call, you don't fold pocket 10's right there, ever. And to say he deserved it is just plain fucking retarded. Get your head check asshole.

  • u didnt get it and i play for real all i said was he deserved the bad beat becuase he was getting crazy hands over hands early in this tourney i seen it.. and didnt like it all i said was at best which is a reasonable situation is he would of been 50 50 toss up if hoyt had ace queen ace king or any overs to the tens and being that both had even chip counts u have to give up the pot or take the coin flip.. now if john n had queens no qusetion he was the chip leader live for

  • You can easily let go of 10s if you got a good read on ur opponent but i wouldnt lay them down there either.

  • Bullshit, he called with the 10s just because he díd have a good read on Corkins 8-7. Corkins just sucked out on him, and acted like an asshole afterwards, asking for a recount.

  • i agree he was dancing with karna all day and karma took a break. It is just poker and he needs to take the beats cause poker is skill but luck runs out on you when you least expect it. Expect the unexpected...lol

  • Hoyt is garbage.

  • HOYT COCKINS! FUCK YOU!

  • HAHAHAHAHAH I actually think he took it pretty well. I for sure would have bitched the shit outta corkins. What a donkey play. God i wish this would have been Hellmuth or Tony G who took the beats, I would have paid lots of money to switch seats with john. hahahahahhah

  • i fucking hate this kind of bull shit. he hit quads, i know that, and thats perfectly fine. thats poker. BUT, why is cockins pushing all in for??? he's 3rd in chips, and he knows john is right behind him in chips. what a fucking donkey, pushing all in with 7/8 just win take the blinds. at least limp in or make a decent raise, then see a fucking flop and try to outplay john.

  • John wanted to win, so there was no reason to fold, especially since Hoyt is a very maniac player at times. As for the "cards being shuffled differently" argument, even if the cards weren't shuffled differently and they came out like they did, John would of had 1.2 million. Cassidy had 489K. Had he not gotten away from the K's, he still would of been in second with 700K plus in chips, more than enough to win it.

  • pretty sick

  • So sick. I would have destoryed the set after that hand. LOL Imagine if that was Hellmuth in John's seat. Hoyt must have been confused and thought he was back at Foxwoods where he had that big chip lead and pushed every hand. He just had a brain fart, thought the right play was to go all-in when it was far from the right play. Then to lose with K K to Q Q and J J the next hand, I'd take a year-long break from the game after that.

  • lol. if that happened to me online, i would probably lose my bankroll, my window, and my computer.

  • and it doesn't matter anyway. hoyt made a massive overbet and sucked out, not only that he was a dick afterwards asking for a recount to make sure that the guy who should've busted him had him covered. john should've been the chip leader and hoyt should've been out.

  • it wouldn't have come out the same because that huge and exciting pot altered the shuffling on the next hand. its like if u are shuffling and someone asks you a question which distracts you from shuffling for 2 secs it makes a difference

  • that was a horrible play and beat WTF is Cokins thinking, he is one of the worst players I have seen, how he is a pro is like calling Michael Jackson Normal, it is unbelievable

    LOL at 3:49-4:05

    "I'm All In"

"What the heck are they looking at"

  • he played quad sevens perfectly he got his money with the best hand!

  • people forget that if john doesnt call with the 10's there would be no board dealt out and the cards would be shuffled differently, thus the next hand would not be dealt the way it was, so if he folds the 10's maybe he wins the tournament

  • That has to be the stupidest comment ever. They shuffle between each hand regardless man.

  • the cards get mixed up different if they dont deal out the flop the turn and the river, use your brain

  • LOL, what a moron.

  • I don't think you understand what he's trying to say. He's saying that D'Agostino wouldn't have been dealt kings the next hand and gone broke like some other people were saying. If he folded the 10's pre-flop on this hand, the next hand wouldn't have been shuffled the same way because of the flop, turn, and river not being dealt out. Think "the butterfly effect".

  • I know EXACTLY what he's saying, and he's incorrect. And so are you if you agree with him.

  • If the dealer left the 8 cards on the top of the deck (flop, turn, river and 3 burn cards) rather than dealing them all out before shuffling, the next hand would have to be different. My point wasn't that the dealer would necessarily shuffle the cards in a different way, it's that the cards would be in a different order, if that makes sense.

  • I know what your point was, and you're wrong!!! They wouldn't be in a different order. Between each deal the dealer throws all cards on the table, mixes them up, picks them up, and then shuffles them. I would encourage you to do some reading on shuffling techniques.

  • Stop focusing on shuffling techniques or specifically whether the board was dealt. Any variation in what happened after that hand would cause the cards to be dealt differently. It doesn't matter if the variation is that no board was dealt or if the dealer had to stand up and stretch before shuffling. A difference in time lapse causes the dealer to pick up different cards to start the shuffling process, therefore different cards would be dealt.

  • "A difference in time lapse"... LMAO... it's not online bud... please stop talking, we're all getting stupider reading these comments.

The next hand is completely INDEPENDENT of the hand before it, whether they dealt the flop, the turn, the river, changed decks, through the cards in the fountain, did a jig, or stood on their head.

  • Okay, forget the time difference example, even though it is valid. It has to do with the butterfly effect that somebody else mentioned. Getting bogged now in philosophical arguments is stupid. Just forget I mentioned that.

  • Just answer me this. How is D'agostino going to get pocket Kings if they cards are put in the differently than if the board wasn't dealt? It's possible but the odds of it happening are absurdly astronomical, and the odds that the other players would get the same cards are even more preposterous.

  • The odds are exactly the same as they always are. Please read about independent events after you read about shuffling.

  • Ummm... no it's not valid. If I hold a deck of cards for 1 second or 500 years, the top card doesn't change because of the butterfly effect lol

  • the cards would DEFINITELY be in a different order if no flop had been dealt. This seems such an obvious point that i cant believe you guys are arguing about it

  • The cards are RANDOM, and INDEPENDENT... it doesn't matter what happened before this deal!

  • I know that he's supposed to act professionally, but I can't blame D'Agostino for the way he reacted because Hoyt simply made a bad all-in play and he got rewarded for his bad play. What added insult to injury was that his Kings wouldn't have held up if he folded his pair of tens. This is probably the worst bad luck a player can ever encounter.

  • why would u go all in and steal the big blinds only? ur risking your whole stack for the blinds idiot, and dagz had a hand to call with, so learn how to play before u talk "moron"

  • His play is questionable as to why he pushed with so much when theres not nearly enough in the pot to justify it. You can also question Dag's call for all his chips with pocket 10s. Unless he had a good read on Hoyt, what made him call so quickly with his tournament life on the line?

Hoyt Corkins is a great player. Look him up and see what he's done. You cant take anything away from his game. Youre just some stupid little troll who probably cant even set foot in a casino.

  • shows what u know u idiot, is that the new geek e-thug word? troll? get a life wanker and learn how to play poker, come back when u win a small tournament

  • Wanker? Stupid brit. Or are you Irish, living under British RULE? Probably cant even afford to play.

  • people like you are the reason americans are universally considered the most stupid and ignorant people on the planet. be proud.

  • poker noob got lucky

  • Noob? Look up Hoyt Corkins on wikipedia. Moron.

  • ur a fag all he does is go all in and bluffs heaps

  • I agree, a huge error for Hoyt, why go all-in there where he can only get called by a hand that beats him there. I guess Hoyt had to leave, but, the cards wouldn't let him. I don't know really what to say about that play.

  • Corkin's all-in is regarded by many as one of the worst plays in television history, and by me for the record. The blinds were absolutely minuscule compared to the 612,000(?) he bet. And also for the record it's correctly an insta-call for John.

  • that's not even a word, moron.

  • INBELIEVIEBALE

  • corkins lucky...it's better to be lucky sometimes..but why did corkins push all in with that....?

  • Fuck Corkins.

  • Dags gets the pass on throwing his chips at Corkins. The bad beat was horrendous, but having to count it up then slide it over to Corkins himself was obviously rubbing his nose in it to a ridiculous level. God Hoyt is a f-king fool.

  • he would of gone broke the next hand anyways, where he had KK, both other players flopped sets

  • he would doubled so he had chips left after the KK hand even with an all-in

  • u hear the WTF from dagostino?

  • when i saw this final table i was just completely stunned watching the bad luck john had. he really mustve felt crushed.

  • gets lucky thats gay

  • Corkins is an amazing player...I dunno what he was smoking this hand.

  • corkins is seriously the worst proffesional poker player ever. ive never seen someone who doesnt understand the concept of this game less than him.

  • i think people needed to see the whole picture: D'ags was the chip leader starting the day and was coasting to the title when it all fell apart and worse is that he was losing while starting with good cards before the flop on several hands until that moment. the hand after that bad beat shows you his luck. then corkins goes all in hoping to catch d'ags saying he'd fold and take a break. well as you see, the rest is (humorous) history. let's face it, it does not get old seeing this.

  • I agree. I remember where he lost several hands where he got drew out on. These two hands were just the end of the line. IIRC, there were a few more hands where he got bad beats.

  • I can't stop laughing while reading all the people saying that 10's was a bad call.

  • Bluf ?? BS .. 78 good when only one opponent left

  • omg, i guess all of you play at party because your comments are totally wrong... it all goes to how much does Dags value his time, his call is correct if he wants either a huge lead or go home, yet i understand cuz of the tireness and table stress... i would fold, dags must have supposed that he was even money, you have to be an idiot to try steal the blinds with an all in, but that of course was said by lon or chad.

  • it was Hoyt Corkins. No one is folding TT to his allin.

  • major donkey play by corkins, possibly the worst play i've seen made by a "professional" on tv ever. anybody who says that dags' call with tens was a donkey call, you're the donkey.

  • that's why 7's are the lucky number

  • Bad play by Dags. He got greedy. A donk like Corkins might have gone all in with KJ - making it a coin flip. Dags call was the proper play in a cash game, but not in a tournament, given the chip situation. If you listen to him talking, it seems Dags was unaware of Corkins stack size. Dags screwed himself. You don't subject your stack to the poker gods unnecessarily. They might laugh at you. The next hand in the vid proves the point if you don't believe me. LOL

  • Its was a pretty obvious steal...if he had him beat i.e.JJ,QQ,KK,AA, he wouldnt have gone all in pre flop.

  • you guys are morons for saying he would have gone broke next hand. Because the cards would have come out different with one less player (Corkins). Dags made a good call, and Corkins the donk is an idiot. Full stop

  • I would've called in a second. The only four hands you SHOULD fear are AA, KK, QQ, JJ, and with a high stack that corkins had, there is no reason to go all in preflop with those four hands. You'd want to raise a small enough amount for your opponent to call. Plus, as big blind, you're going to expect a position raise, and as small blind, you're going to position raise. Shit move by corkins.

  • bottom line is Corkins or whatever the fuck his name is has a rep as a donkey and proved it here it. If i was Dgas, i woulda stomped him.

  • I agree with simon and acesupsleeve here. With blinds this small and a table that wasn't particularly strong, D'ags could've easily let go of this hand and continue to outplay his opponents with his chips. It was a wreckless call.. John was lucky that Hoyt had two unders but calling off all of your chips with two tens against virtually any one live overcard is a huge risk. He was getting no odds to call off his money.. there was not much reward to this risk.

  • This is to any of the dumbfucks who thinks folding is right.

Im willing to bet if Dags would of folded, or would have won the hand, youd be saying it would be a call.

Straight up, you are all results biased idiots who should be shot

  • For all those who think online poker is rigged, all you have to do is watch this video. Also as a side note, you don't have to be a poker pro to decide weather or not you want to play tens for all your money. It depends on your playing style. If it was me, I would have let it go just because I play TAG, and when it is a risk for all my chips in a big tournament sometimes its better just to let those hands go and wait for another hand.

  • WOW

  • THAT WAS AMAZING!

LOL @ D' AGOSTINO. I LOVE IT WHEN HOYT BLUFFS WITH LOW RUNNERS.

  • tough beat for John. You can't say John would have lost everything on the next hand because the dealer would not have shuffled the cards in the same way.

  • ?

  • thank you!!! im am the only one who ever tells people that and they think im crazy... like when ppl say i was gonna take that seat... and i tell them you wouldnt have got those hands... they think im crazy..

  • ok what does all of that have to do with how he played that hand?

  • this is a response to a comment made at the top of the page.... view all comments to read it... btw cool screename

  • this is a response to a comment made at the top of the page.... view all comments to read it... btw cool screename

  • Calling off all your chips with TT as a big stack, with 60 times the big blind, at the final table of a major, to another big stack's all-in... I wouldn't have called, even if Corkins had 72o. (I would've with AA and still lost, though). Looks like he would've lost most of it the next hand anyways, though.

  • you wouldnt of called cause youre a results biased moron. Corkins is known for pushing big stacks with no hands. And Dags wouldnt of gone broke the next hand. with a raise(A6), and a re-raise(JJ) Dags woulda pushed and no one, not even the guy with QQ woulda called

  • you wouldnt have called because you're a pussy bitch who wants to sound like some sort of pro on youtube. "I wouldnt have called"..wouldnt have called wouldnt have called, yah lalahla..balbalba.. shut up faggot. dumb fuck nut

  • it was a reckless call, it was for virtually most of his chips and there were still 5 players left, he was practically broke anyways with 1 chip left

  • if cork. had JJ or better he would not have went all in he would have wanted a little action.. that all in bet meant i want you to fold ... its not a bad call

  • you wouldn't have called because im fucking your mother.

  • ouch, D'agostino sure gets beaten up there...
