  • While I agree with the largest part, the problem with Mos Def views is they leave almost no room for international solidarity -as far as I can tell.

  • @code933k can you please explain by what you mean with international solidarity

  • @MrRealTlkz International solidarity: A broad sense of internal or individual affairs: History -for the last hundred years at least- have developed globally. Nationality is an historic illusion. And one cannot make sure what the best decision for oneself is, until provisions have been made for the rest. You know, most backfires in the world today are due to local short-sightedness.

  • that guy totally wanted another butt.

  • Well said Mos, A wise man, expresses that, we must be a wise nation. Words of wisdom. Great interview, great questions.. wonderful series. The problem is jealousy, envy, hippocracy of leaders near and far, especially when the truth is told. "The Proxy of Democracy" wow, like water..

  • Naive?

  • mos def is the realist! I aspire to be someone like this man. Intelligent, influentual and inspirational in the best of ways!

The net is a very powerful tool that should be used as agressively by the free and positive thinkers as it is by the porno/commercial promoters.

Eckhart Tolle talks about a "a shift in global conciousness".

when more and more people do the right thing, lead by example in creative ways, promoting a "we are all in this together" mentality this might happen. but when?

  • You guys should see Zeitgeist 3: moving forward. Its a documentairy about the monatary system we live in. Its a "bit"idealistic but its the truth. Peace from Holland

  • everyone who has gotten this far into these videos take the world in and try to approach your everyday with a little less judgement and a little more analysis and it will make a difference.

  • yeah, pt.1 started with over 29,000 and went down to less than 4,000. truth is always hard to digest mentally and a lie is easier to accept because it requires no thought process to do so.

    mathematics. lol.

  • @92680BOYD

Yeah i notice that too. I also think its due to low concentration and attention abilities in people. Kinna like what Mos was saying earlier about people being dumbed down it all goes hand in hand even with people who admire intelligent interaction. I have found personally too that you cant have an intelectual conversation with most people too long because they mentally run out of breath. I dont blame them its what I call this "human management" system we live in thats crap.

  • @92680BOYD From some the truth is ugly and a lie is beautiful. Some people would rather live in blissful ignorance beacuse the truth will shatter their reality. I call living a lie dying over and over again but "to each his own"

  • @92680BOYD

    It's all mathematics.

  • why are the veiws declining wtf...

    listen americans...

  • Wow people cant even concentrate to watch the full interview, how sad. It started with 16000 and went down to 2200. People we need to spread this, all 7 parts.

  • this should be shown in schools all around the nation. what an interview..or well strong monologue by mos def.

  • yo these videos need more views...should be seen by the masses

  • @millisitch this is real talk, it's going straight to the heart of what's fucked up in the usa, sad only a few of us get it... we'll come together at some point though, you can only keep the people dumb and oppressed for so long...

  • @millisitch thats why i post this shit all over my facebook, everyone should spread the knowledge!!

  • @millisitch so true, if people watch and try and understand, i think it'll have a good outcome

  • Mos Def much love and respect. I wish more than just a few people my age were actually more concerned with large issues. Today people are concerned of which color I-phone to buy, i really think people are brain washed to be materialistic and if u are materialistic your willing to do what ever and hurt whoever to get more material.

  • @bigtap03 How Old r u ?

  • @bigtap03 word. hiphop music today, with the exception of talib kweli, the roots, mos def and a few select others, has lost its way. i 100% agree with you that society as a whole has lost its way too. society's mentality is always reflected by the art that it produces, whether that art is painting or music. if you look at hiphop today, gone for the most part is the spirituality, strength and truth that used to exist. today it's all about material wealth, sex, and violence just like mos def says.
