@sad2002 I have always known their Genre as being alternative up until 1985 Songs From The Big Chair when they went commercial. Roland and Curt as well as many known bands today have had success using the voices of Paul McCartney and John Lennon and rythem sound of The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour and Abbey Road. Neil Finn from Crowded House along with his solo work has borrowed from George Harrison guitar playing and singing as well. TFF "Closest Thing To Heaven" is very much Beatles sounding.
@fitzpatrickgf This song is from the album Tomcats Screaming Outside. I wish I can sound very educated about music but I cannot. All I know is that I am more into melody and rhythmic sounds and that I am in awe of Orzabal's ability to create melodies where every note fits perfectly with each other.
@sad2002 I can only read basic notes when it comes to learning music, but mostly I play by ear. It's weird that I recently have taken notice to melody's and rhythm, but most of all Harmony TFF offers. I know TFF are very good at bringing them all together and doing it perfectly. I have been teaching myself to record now and TFF is a great inspiration. I don't know where and how they get the recipe for good music. Loves A Happy Ending 2005 Album didn't get recognition it deserved. Do you have it?
@fitzpatrickgf Yes, I bought ELAHE for the track Out of Control. I'm not into the Beatles sound. I prefer when Orzabal was more controlling/meticulous in the creative process. I like half of the album.
Love "Ticket To the World". That's a song you can't sit still to. I'm hoping the guys tour this year. It's been many years since I saw Roland but I haven't seen both him and Curt together. NYC (or the general area) would be great. (Hint, hint..). ;-)
"Broken/ Head Over Heels / Broken" FOREVER ! You're 100% right ! Why don't you contact Curt and tell him your suggestions?

@progmeup Highly doubtful that he/they would listen to my suggestions. For a concert of this caliber, I would pay a premium for the tickets, though!
