He's a pretty good drummer, and here he's making the most of his talent utilizing technology and showmanship for the overall effect, which is awesome. Yeah Tommy Lee did the moving drum riser thing in the 80s, and Joey J. more recently, but the point is he takes it a step further, the trick evolves here, and looks even more spectacular. Besides, if you're an average teenage kid at the show you're in awe having never seen this before. Take away the technology and it's an average solo.
Mediocre at best. Saw Tommy Lee do this trick 20 years ago with the rotating drum cage. He's not doing anything spectacular. I don't know why people worship this guy.

Travis inspires people to play without style, and break they're cymbals all the time. He has no style. His fills are very generic, and he does not have perfect timing... When you find some real drummers please message me back about much you dislike Travis...

y do u guys compare him to a metal drummer ? a metal drummer was supposed to be fast ! they were trained to be fast . Travis was trained to play jazz when he was a child by his father . he was trained to play all sorts of tempo and speeds instead metal drummer like Joey Jordison juz trained to play metal(fast) . give him this or any other beats from Travis and he won't be able to play . best drummer are not about speed only . its about tone,skills,beats and showmanship.

well i dont agree with any of you. only with faulk182. If you study hes trajectory you would only see Ska/punk, punk and hip-hop. he grow up playing jazz and he was first drummer in the marching band. i bet to anyone that play drums to make a drum battle with travis. you well get your ass kick, I study popular music in Puerto Rico and I can say im no match yet to him but soon you all can see me at his side doing a drum battle and that will be for sure

Okayyy...he is good. but farrr from best. He doesnt have that much skill...just kinda simple. Eveything he plays is easy for any decent drummer to play. But c'mon he is not even close to the best drummer on earth. And i hear that he is the fastest? Okay, again hes fast, but not that fast. Joey Jordison from slipknot is a hella faster. Travis is okay, but not the best.
