  • I built a computer with the following specs:

ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS with ATI Radeon 3000 Graphics

Western Digital 500 GB hard drive

    AMD Phenom II 840

    4 GB RAM

    Cooler Master 500W power supply

    3 fans

    Lite-On DVD burner

  • @jishan22 Cool, how much it cost you?

  • @jishan22 According to my calculations depending on the speed of the ram and the exact case the parts should not cost more than 5-6 hundred dollars

  • @howtowindowsguide I didn't get what you meant when you paused the video and wrote about the CPU power plug. Can you please explain to me more clearly, thanks!

  • @rickyvanhalen There is a plug that needs to be plugged into the motherboard, it powers the cpu

  • @howtowindowsguide does it come with the cpu?

  • @rickyvanhalen No, it comes with the power supply. It plugs in from the power supply to the motherboard

  • @howtowindowsguide k, got it. Sorry if i'm a bit dumb with these things but i have two more questions, 1. how many pins is that plug? 2. what is overclocking, what does it do and how do i do it?

  • @rickyvanhalen I did forget to add to the video to plug in the CPU power. This is a 4 pin connector that is located near the CPU on the motherboard. The PSU comes with it, a black 4 pin. Pause the video at 6:37 to see the plug in between both fans. It is the wire on the top left.

  • Shouldn't i also put the cream thingy that comes with the processor between the processor and the cooler on top?

  • How much did it cost to make that computer?

  • @MrTiizHD 1k or less i think, cant remember.

  • @howtowindowsguide is the powersupply cables long enough?

  • @nTELHD You can watch the building of the computer, hopefully that will answer your question

  • why'd you get an AMD 5000 series card when the 6000 series are better and cheaper. Plus they're easier to find.

  • @redruney I find that the 5770 is a very good video card for the price. Usually you can find a rebate, and they generally run under 110$. For the productivity it gives I find this Video Card to be very worth the money. But yes there may be better one's out there.

  • @howtowindowsguide raidmax case :/

  • This must have been a bitch to upload

  • @TeamwaypointHD Right you are =D

  • Reminder...not all motherboards and cpus are fit into the motherboard sockets that way. Also not all motherboards have the same 3pin fan power cable connector in the same place.

  • Use thremal before adding the heatsink and fan on the cpu..This is a nice vid but i can see some people still not understanding

  • @DETERMINOLOGY This is only necessary with an aftermarket fan. The fan that comes with the cpu has thermal 90% of the time pre-applied. But, yes, if the fan does not come with one. Then you should buy a thermal paste to put on it.

  • Good video!

  • Nice tutorial very clear thank you ! Add in my favorite :)

  • @T3RTIX Thank you!

  • Really well done
